The behavior of the employees and manager at this location is appalling, night shift specifically.
So I tried to eat a little something after a rough day. I ordered a shake and fries right? Shake and fries. I pull up to pay, cashier at the first window takes my card, gives me the card back says āyou're goodā and shuts the window. I get to the next window. They try to hand me a shake and a Coke. I said that's not what I ordered, I ordered a shake and fries. They're like no and I'm like yes, it is; so they bring in the manager. The manager comes in hot from the jump and is screaming at me, that I get what I paid for, it doesnāt matter what I actually ordered apparently. Iām like well itās not what I ordered so can we fix this? Iāll pay the difference! As Iām trying to say that sheās just saying no repeatedly and getting louder each time, Iām just shaking because Iām not paying for a coke I didnt order, I donāt like coke I wonāt even drink it. I didnāt order this, either refund the coke or charge me for the fries- removing the amt I paid for the coke. Fix it, is all Iām asking. Then she asked me for my receipt like that even makes a difference, anything that would be on my receipt is what you are able to see on your end. Weāve already acknowledged a mistake was made- and Iāve agreed to pay the difference, the receipt is meaningless⦠but I donāt have a receipt because the girl told me you're good just pull forward and shut the window. She didn't give me a receipt⦠which set this āmanagerā off even more. I was trying to be nice and I'm sitting here like whatever you charged me for the Coke just take it off the price of the fries, like I'll pay the up charge. It's not that big of a deal but I want something to eat. I don't want 2 Drinks for one person, that's ridiculous. I'm willing to pay for what I actually ordered. She is still losing it, then she runs off screaming at the other employee who took the order. while she was back at the other window degrading the cashier for her mistake, one of the other employees handed me the fries and was like here, just leave; and Iām just stunned, what the fxck did I do this for this person to get so heated? I offered to pay the difference, or take a refund on the wrongfully charged item. One of your employees messed up, itās okay, but letās make it right. I offered to pay the difference or take a refund for the coke I didnāt order. I wasn't demanding free fries. I just want what I ordered, or a refund for a wrongful charge. Why the fxck are you losing your shxt on me? Fast food workers receive a lot of verbal abuse from customers, I know, but this time it was the other way around and I truly did not deserve that. After placing my order and waiting in my curbside mobil parking spot and waiting over 20 mins I attempted to go in and get my order. They had locked the dining room. So I try calling inside the restaurant and they proceeded to ignore the call and not answer. So I go into the drive thru explain I would like to speak to the manager and that Iāve now at 30 mins of waiting on my food. She has the audacity to lie and say she tried to bring it out to me. I ask for corporates number and to make sure my receipt is in the bag and she refuses to give me the number or my receipt. However because I ordered through the app they email me a copy of my order and all the information. Iāll be calling corporate tomorrow to file a formal complaint. Half the order wasnāt even correct but by now 45 mins had passed and I was on a short schedule which is why I had went to a fast food restaurant in the first place was there is absolutely nothing fast about this location. I personally worked at a fast food restaurant for years when I was in high school so Iām very familiar with how they are ran and function. This location only cares about their drive thru timer and trying to get drive thru orders out as fast as possible. The manager became very upset when I said I would not move off the timer until they remade my whole order. She proceeded to give me the old food. Fast food is not the greatest quality and itās even worse when itās been sitting for 45 mins. One employee didnāt even have shoes on and had them places near the back door as to which I could see because they had the back door propped open with a mop and the shoes sitting there and the employees was just walking around with no shoes on. Had trouble adding a 20 piece McNuggets box, asked the drive-thru attendant if she could add it to the order. She could not (probably not her fault), but offered to ring it separately, which I okayed. At the pay window, I paid for the nuggets, and received 2 receipts. At the food delivery window, I received a large bag. I asked that they throw in some sweet ān sour sauce, since I was not prompted for a choice on the drive-thru speaker. They happily did so. I drove the 2.3 miles home. No nuggets present. The other food was fine, and special orders were accommodated correctly. Tried calling the store, 10 rings, no answer. Tried calling the franchise manager, voice mail, hung up. Drove the 2.3 miles back to the restaurant and went inside. Anna, working the front, was very nice and delivered my issue to the back section and management. The manager, āLilyā, gave me a slight side-eye when I told my story and presented both receipts, but ultimately instructed someone to prepare a 20-piece for me. When she brought it to me with a scowl, I took it. Iād have thought Iād get an apology, extra nuggets, some fries, or something/some effort to acknowledge the mistake. Nothing doing. I saw Anna on the way out the door, thanked her for her courtesy, and drove the 2.3 miles home to the hungry kids waiting for their nuggets. I guess this is where weāve gotten to.
