Burlington Jade — Restaurant in Burlington

They are takeout only. General Gau's Chicken (8.25) from the lunch menu. "Cubes of chicken coated with water chestnut flour and eggs. Deep fried until crispy and cooked with hot sweet and sour ginger sauce". I also added on the B Jade Fried Chicken (1.75) from the apps menu. The fried chicken was excellent, tender, crispy and juicy. They are lined up on the outside of the plate. I do believe it was a chicken thigh and it was a big one. I'll get this again in a heartbeat. The GG's chicken was all dark meat (as it should be) with a very thin batter. Next time I'll ask for extra sauce and extra spicy. The chicken wings (2) on the appetizer lunch menu are two 2/3 pieces of a wing and they are really big and meaty. Both on the phone and picking up the people are very pleasant. However, ordering extra spicy just gets you a couple more unopened chilis. Extra sauce gives you the same amount of sauce, but just...

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE…Jade has been our go to spot for Chinese food for the last 6 years. When we started going it was on point. As time passed little things started changing wrong orders, watered down hot mustard, less filling in the crab rangoons and of course prices went up. Yesterday they lost our business forever. Called for a pickup our usual order. When we arrived my boyfriend ran in to grab the order and the owner says it is getting delivered he asked how much it was and he quoted $8 more than what we usually pay. He comes to the car with no food and lets me know they decided to deliver the food. He is not firm, so I went in side. He basically was not taking responsibility for their mess up and wanted me to go back home to get my food and pay for delivery and he wouldn’t even look me in the eye or come up with a solution. DISGUSTING!! Keep your OVERPRICED...

My family and I have been ordering from there ever since they opened (I can't believe it's been that long...I was so little!). Maybe it's because this was the Chinese food I basically grew up eating, but Burlington Jade is truly the standard I hold other restaurants to. I've since moved, and Chinese food being my favorite, had to find somewhere else that could even compare to the standard set by Burlington Jade. I recently went back to visit my mom and we ordered it for her birthday. I can still say it's the best I've ever had! If you had to put my favorites side by side with any other restaurant, I would always pick the ones from Burlington Jade.
