The Bagel Bar — Restaurant in Burlington

Gross and unappetizing food. This is the second time we've tried his place and both time the food and coffee was so bad.

First of all the girls either ignore you or look disappointed they have a new customer when you walk in. First time we got french toast and egg bagels and they were SO tough I couldn't believe they were made that day. If this is New York style bagels I want no part in it. I get better ones at Dunks We got the veggie cream cheese and maple bacon, which were super expensive btw. The cream cheese tastes so gross, I can't explain it. And the bacon was so chunky it was just unappealing.

Just now I got a ham and mozz breakfast sandwich and it was the most horrid looking ham I have ever seen. It looks like it's from the dollar store. I paid $7 for this sandwich, you can't spring for some Boar's Head? I had to pick it off and throw it away. I ordered the lox sandwich on an egg bagel with cream cheese. They gave me a sandwich WITHOUT the lox. No apologies and no reassurance of getting me what I ordered when I called. Manager asked for my receipt which they did NOT even give me as I had paid by credit card. Asked me to bring my sandwich back right away assuming I have nothing else to do in my day. Unfortunately I had to take my kid to swim class and afterwards I work. I ordered this for my breakfast which you don’t want me to eat and want me to actually bring back because YOU forgot to put LOX on it. What kind of service is this?! So I brought half of that back (I had to eat something for breakfast). No apologies from them when they refunded my "lox" bagel. Bad service, bad manager, and awful experience. Worst service ever. A bunch of young girls that have no idea what they’re doing. When asked what flavor pastries they are serving at the counter, they are always unsure. I have to repeat my order over and over because they never get it right when repeating it back. Yesterday, I waited a considerable amount of time for one latte. After watching the girl struggle for a very long time to get the lid to stay on my hot drink, she still handed it to me with the lid not fully on.
