Just grabbed a coffee here. The attitude of one of the baristas, a taller dark haired woman, was shocking. I’m not sure if she’s having a bad day, but that’s no excuse to treat customers poorly. I never leave bad reviews, but felt compelled to because of her. She asked me not once, but three times if I had been taken care of, and each was met with a “no.” I’m not sure why she made it her mission to glare at me every time she looked at me, but mission accomplished. By the time another barista had taken my order, I was waiting in the long congested line with people packed tightly on my right and left. Despite the numerous people blocking me from moving either right or left, she chose me out of the line to ask “did you get your order taken? Then you need to MOVE,” again, disregarding the fact that we had NO SPACE to move. I had to ask the large number of my people to my right to move so that I wouldn’t get personally targeted and yelled at again by this barista.
You either need better oversight or better employment screenings. I wish I got her name to formally complain to management, but I was SO embarrassed that I wasn’t thinking in the moment. Again, tall with black hair, of Asian descent. If you could find this employee and talk with her about her demeanor with customers, I think you will find that your number or returning new customers would skyrocket. I, personally, will never return to this location and will warn all my other friends, colleagues, and family never to do so either. Or, if they do, watch out for this barista and prepare to be made to feel like the scum of the earth for being a paying customer merely standing quietly in...
Read moreCaffe Nero Burlington is a wonderful and friendly coffee spot. Not only is the coffee and espresso drinks some of the best I have had but their food and pastries are a fan favorite of all three of my kids. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, in particular the manager Michael was so friendly and generous when I messed up my own coffee order and he corrected it for me, which means a lot when you are a mom of three young kids. I would recommend this place a...
Read moreCoffee is pretty good, so is the selection of non coffee drinks. What makes it hard to like this place is that individual people will dominate the seating groups made for 3+ by sprawling across the couch or taking up tables with 6 chairs while individual seats are freely available. Makes it hard to sit if you are a party of 2+.
Currently sitting here and seeing all the group seating taken by individuals, seems someone could manage the...
