We came here years ago and thought the food was overpriced and bland. Not much has changed. They are the most expensive Chinese restaurant in the area by several dollars. The servings are not great and they charge a 3.5% credit card fee. I usually don’t patron businesses that do. But we wanted to give them another chance based on the rating and we were in the area.

The pictures, including 3 cups of included steamed white rice, was $68 including taxes and fees. That’s a lot IMO. Salad fork shown for reference.

The beef and broccoli should be called broccoli and beef. At $23 you’d think you’d get a lot of beef. At that price you can get a decent 12 or 16 ounce steak at most restaurants. But it had way more vegetables then beef. The only good thing was the flavor was pretty decent.

The sesame chicken. It had half as much broccoli as chicken. $19. Very very bland. Really almost no flavor at all. Had no sweetness to it at all.

The General Tso’s Chicken was also $19. I did like that it had a lot of mixed quality vegetables. The heat was perfect but it didn’t make up for the lack of flavor. It’s hard to explain but it was like I was eating spicy fried chicken chunks with just no flavor.

All and all at such a high price for the amount food, mostly bland flavors and credit card fee we will not be back. Staff was friendly and helpful. Phone went to busy signal for 5 minutes. Just...

The food is good but the attitude of the owners is very unprofessional. Especially the man. I ordered hot tea which takes longer than the food to get ( don't know why ) , and I wanted 2 teabags instead of the watered down 1. You would have thought I was asking for a free meal. I offered to pay for the extra tea bag but the owner got a real nasty attitude and didn't want to serve it to me but his wife finally agreed and gave it to me. The man brought us the food and just plopped it down on the table and walked away. This guys very unprofessional. They restaurant is not much bigger than a walk in closet. Nowhere to stand while waiting on the food. If you are fortunate enough to find a table, people look at you just waiting for you to get up. The walk in closet needs to be bigger to accommodate the customers. The biggest turn off is the staff talk in English unless they don't want you to understand them. That's when they speak in their native language and then turn back to whoever is ordering, smiles and then talk English again. Once again, VERY...

Bought three different combos, and they all tasted the same. The General's chicken and sesame chicken tasted the SAME. Beef and broccoli...so bland. They were all bland. Fried dumplings? Hard and soggy at the same time. And no, we ate there. So no steam made them soggy from being in a container. Staff were nice. Ridiculous having to pay 3.5% for using a credit card on bland food. Even a nine year old asked what she was eating. She had the sesame chicken. Did side by side taste test with left overs at home. Yeah, no. Chickens tasted same. Was able to tell beef with broccoli because of texture. Not sure who thinks this can contend with NY/NJ food... I LIVED IN BOTH PLACES. Food up there CHEAPER and better. If you can't handle flavors, spices, or "heat", then this is the perfect place for you. Many better places in the area that are cheaper and so much better. Sometimes you have to read reviews and not just the ratings. We learned. We hardly ate there, and brought it home. Hoping it would...

First time here and my barometer of good Chinese food is the Hot and Sour soup—this soup exceeds expectations!! Just the right hot and sour, fresh and crisp veggies, not too starchy or salty, and tons of wonton chips on the side. Can’t wait to dive deeper into the menu on a return visit. Restaurant is extremely clean and feels safe. They are very transparent that they are charging 3.5% if you use a credit card. I’m fine with that to help keep restaurants going nowadays. Pay that way or they increase prices no matter how you pay, right?

Unfortunately our experience here was subpar - the food is honestly terrible. It was so bland, had zero distinguishable flavor profiles, and was overpriced. I absolutely don't mind paying top dollar for good food, but this was not it. I will say that the staff are super friendly, service was quick and it seemed fairly clean. That being said, I would prefer slow service with rude employees and a low sanitation grade with great Chinese food 😅
