Terrible customer service! The manager Caleb, is the sorriest excuse for a manager. No customer service! After working all day out of town, decided to call in Papa John’s for my family for supper. After waiting 30 minutes to pick it up, pulled out my debit card to pay. It came up with options for a tip. I was not gonna pay a tip for pick up. So I pushed button “ other”. Then put in total of pizza, $2831. It doubled my amount on debit card. Evidently, manager thought he was going to get a $28 tip. I told him to put it back on my card. And fix it. He said he couldn’t. And it would come back on my card in 24 hrs. The other girl working said it might take 5 business days. Then Caleb, the jerk manager, wanted me to put my debit card back in chip reader to buy pizza. I would not comply. I had already gotten it deducted , out of almost $60. Then, instead of being a polite manager, he didn’t offer to give me the pizzas. He didn’t care! And I kept asking for receipt, in case I didn’t see it back in my account. He refused. Another customer seen how he acted. Was disgusted! My husband met me over there to get a receipt. He only gave me a receipt for $28. Not the double amount I paid. He yelled and acted like a spoilt idiot. When I explained I was not trying to be rude. I simply wanted my receipt of the full amount I paid, to get nothing. He said he treats people the way they treat him. He was the rudest person I think I have ever encountered. Worst experience ever! Will never go back to this location. I still had to go buy my family supper after I spent $60 for nothing and wasted my time. Sal’s of Burlington, here we come! Also, my husband accidentally left his I phone on the counter. When he went back to get it, they said they...
Read moreThis review is for the South Church Street Burlington store.
This used to be a good location. I used to frequent this location at least once a week, for quite a while. After receiving a few sub par pizzas, I really stopped ordering regularly, but still did on occasion. Lately, the issue has become the employees. There's one female, that recently came back to the store that is great! There are 2 AA females though, that are so rude and unprofessional, I will no longer give this place my business. Snarky comments under their breath, loud obnoxious music playing, yelling and carrying on, and just plain being rude to customers for no reason. I'm a very easy going/friendly person. It really takes a lot to get on my bad side, so I guess they actually accomplished something. The bigger "female" isn't ever actually doing work that I've ever seen. The smaller one does everything with an attitude and a chip on her shoulder. How you would let someone like her run your store is beyond me. And for the record, I'm not alone in what I'm expressing here. I've had several conversations with other patrons in and around the store about these two. Hopefully someone higher up in the chain of command realizes what's happening there. Me personally, I'm just going to spend my money at one of the many other, better choices for pizza in the area. I would highly encourage anyone reading this to not waste your money or time. There are much better...
Read moreI am writing this in response to Ms. Pickard's review. I'm the manager she's referring to in that review. And first and foremost I want to say that i am a very customer-oriented individual. I will bend over backwards for most customers, taking a loss of profit to simply fix a mistake. She blatantly lied in her review and I hate that there isn't an option to report a review for being falsified. She was in absolutely no way calm or even reasonable in that entire situation. She was, to this day, the absolute worst customer I have ever served. Even worse than the guy who straight up threw a pizza at me.
If she had simply been a decent human being and listened to what I was saying for five seconds, that entire situation would have unraveled VERY differently. I don't mind taking a loss to keep a customer happy. But I will do that ONLY if the customer remains respectful. That was not the case. I noticed that she conveniently left out all the parts of her being a raving lunatic and raising her voice and most importantly NOT LISTENING to what I was saying. Not to mention snapping her fingers at one of my coworkers like HE WAS A DOG.
I know it must be SO hard not getting what you want after making a scene, but you don't get to disrespect human beings and walk away with a reward. Sorry, that's not how I do things. I hate to reinforce stereotypes, but Ms. Pickard was the...
