Will not order from this location again. As a former employee of Papa John’s I do still order from the local franchise which should speak to the general quality of product and service that you should be able to expect from the area locations.
Today I received a pizza at room temperature but within a reasonable time frame. This is because the pizza was delivered by a DoorDash driver with no pizza bag. When I called the store I was told that there would be no guarantee that a remake pizza wouldn’t arrive in the same fashion. I sat literally stunned in silence for a few seconds and then asked for my money back. The manager, by the name of Zach, then hung up on me. I called back a second time, literally said the words “we can agree to disagree on the situation if you want but I’d like a refund please” and at some point in that sentence Zach hung up on me again.
The restaurant refused to answer my further calls, so I had to drive to the restaurant to secure the refund I asked for twice over the phone. Zach had absolutely no problem giving me that refund in person, by the way. So anyway, now it’s two hours after I ordered a pizza for delivery specifically so I didn’t have to leave the house on my day off, and not only have I left the house, but I have no pizza (because I returned it in person when I asked for my refund).
I recorded the entire in-person interaction, and all phone calls are recorded and can be accessed by ownership. I was accused of yelling over the phone; the recorded interaction will show I did not yell, but I did try to talk over Zach in an attempt to secure my refund. The in-person interaction was uneventful, even though I’m admittedly very upset right now.
I’m incredibly disappointed that this is the location that delivers to me, because now I can’t order Papa John’s for delivery again until/unless I move to a different delivery area. And even though I am a former employee who did not leave on fantastic terms, I will still freely acknowledge that Papa John’s is my favorite chain pizza, and haven’t had this kind of trouble at their other locations including locations operated by the...
Read moreI ordered pizza last night. My card was charged $22. I received a confirmation email. After an hour, I called the Hebron store and they had no “record” of my order. I checked my bank account and my card was for sure charged. I had a confirmation email and the manager “marinda” was not helpful at all and told me she couldn’t do anything about it because it’s an online order. I will not order from this location again. No offer to help me or send food that I already paid for. Now I keep calling the 1-800 number which is what “marinda” told me to do and I’ve waited over 30 min with no answer at all.
