-The philly style tomato pie... I needed it and 😲
-Mortadella, pistachio spread, arugula pizza: 🤯🥰
-Fig, caramelized onions, blue cheese, pickled cherries pizza: again 🤯🥰
Texture, taste, how it hit the pallet, how the flavors lingered... Perfect.
The young woman working as our server was so nice, down to earth, bubblie, a great conversationalist. The chef again I can only only explain as down to earth, very pleasant, and made me feel welcomed. When I walked in the door, we exchanged greetings, I told him what we just dealt with and his comment immediately made me feel at home. Nope, I'm not going to tell you what he said. These are our people. No, better. They made a late dinner with just me and my son a memorable experience. If he gets into Champlain next year, I'm bringing the whole family.
Oooh, the corn on the cob! Get that too! You won't regret it.

I should have taken pictures of our food. Damn, missed...
Read moreThe food was “okay,” very limited selections, but menu was confusing. We, my friend and I, first were given paper menus, then when we had questions about salads being served at another table, we were told to go look at the chalk board menu at the front or the store, which also had their lunch menu that included salads and other items. It also mentioned lunch was served from 11a - 5p. However, when we attempted to order a salad and pizza from that menu, we were told it was now the dinner menu, and to refer to the paper menu that was given to us. Also very confusing as we were ordering around 4:30p, which would still be their lunch time menu? You go up and order/pay for your food on your own, which is completely fine, but makes it difficult to ask questions regarding the menu/food as it feels rushed because others are waiting behind you to order/pay as well. Everything considered, I/we will not...
Read moreLovely and genuine food prepared simply with terrific ingredients, great care and love. The locally sourced mortadella was the best we've had stateside, and it drew us back for dinner where we had a delicious zucchini salad and amazing meatballs. RR reminded us of small, excellent Tokyo restaurants with compact menus that emphasize quality ingredients and careful attention in their preparation. The sandwiches at lunch are subbed with pizza al taglio at dinner (they are made on the same house-baked focaccia). Lunches seem popular but the dinner service was laid back and fun. Interesting wine list and the general manager is a gem -- very knowledgeable about wine and...
