Taqueria Los Jarritos — Restaurant in Burlington

Food was below mid at best, I read such good reviews thought I’d try since I have driven by this place for years. I would recommend trying anywhere but here. My bill came to $35 and all the sides were super small portions. I was actually shocked what the bill came to and not much food. Only good size item was the quesadilla but it lacked so much flavor. The best thing I can say I ate from there was the rice. They need to learn how to season their food. 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽

Some good local recommendations for Mexican food in the Burlington/ Mount Vernon area would be COA,Tacos Tecalitlan, Antojos Locos, La Terraza, Carniceria Los Compadres, Mi Mexico.

First off, the food was good. The service by the person who helped us, not at all. Our order was incorrectly served to us. We had ordered the wet with chicken, but we somehow got the dry wrapped super burrito. When asked about it, I was told how to say wet correctly - and not sure how wet, even said as 'vet' got to be heard as the super burrito. We asked for guac and sour cream in it, which was not there - the super burrito was opened, added sauce and given back to us in less than a minute.

While I understand orders get wrong, I would have appreciated the staff accepting it giving us the right order and not when giving it back again to tell me how to order it and I should have said it right, for the third time, and laughing about it

It's not funny. We try to support local businesses when we travel. Being condescending...

Stopped in for a late lunch today and what a lovely experience!! The customer service was warm, welcoming & super friendly. The food was served super quickly and it was hot & fresh, tasty and it came with great salsas which complemented it all very well. The restaurant itself was clean, bright & tidy and had a cozy, comfortable feel.

It was a great experience and we both remarked on how enjoyable it was! The gentleman who took our order was so nice & they clearly have plenty of regulars, which we could tell from their friendly banter when ordering their food to go. :-)

Is this a super ‘fancy’ restaurant? No. Is it somewhere that feels like visiting awesome neighbours you’ve known for ages but just haven’t seen in a bit? Absolutely.

Would definitely recommend & look forward to going...
