After our first attempt to go to Bricksworth the owner reached out and asked us to give them a second chance. With the busy schedule of club softball, we did not get a chance to go again until last night. I do love the modern feel of the inside of this restaurant. I also loved the fact they have a great patio section if eating outside is your thing. We sat and got our order in soon after we got to our seats. Two pizzas and two orders of wings was what we gave and then sat back eager for our food to arrive. I took this as a chance to wander around the restaurant, taking in the great bar section where you can see the area where they make their beer. Once back at our table our food arrived and it was all incredible. Cool ranch dorito dry rub was super tasty and the garlic parm tenders were out of the park. The pizza was the high point though, detroit style deep dish with nice crispy edges and plenty of topping to go around. When I ordered my daughter scoffed at me and said, "Seems like a lot of food dad" but we ended up only taking two pieces of pizza home. The food was just that good and it was great to sit with my family and enjoy everything before my son heads back to college and school starts up again. After an initial bad impression I am super happy we went back to give these guys a second chance. Everything about our night was enjoyable and we will be making a point to go back sooner than later!

Was pretty excited to try these guys for the first time and chose to go on Fathers Day. Went at 6:30, which seems like a pretty normal time to go have dinner. Upon entering the restaurant there was a sign that said grab menus and seat yourself, oh but we have no pizza. I thought this was a joke but when I talked to a server they kind of laughed at me and said yup, no pizza tonight. Seeing I had never been here before I thought this was some sort of inside gag but when I asked a second server they laughed and said the same thing. I guess it was the laughing that prompted me to reach out, planning a family dinner is not always the easiest and to go to a place that specializes in pizza only to be told there is none was kind of jaw dropping. I am not sure if this happens a lot with these guys but having some sort of online heads up would be great so families like mine don't just show up only to have to find another...

Came for the chicken wings, and they were very good. The Dry Rub was the highlight (with a lemon wedge), and we also had the Buffalo and the Honey Sriracha. The chicken itself was cooked very nicely, the crispiness of the skin varied by flavor. The current chicken wing shortage is definitely driving prices upward right now, but splitting a dozen wings between two people isn't so bad, and will leave you plenty full.

Beer! It is a beer company after all. Their house beer was good, and they do have a decent number of unique brews, but I was hoping for more variety. During the cold Minnesota winter months I would have hoped for more than 1 dark beer in the rotation. Otherwise there were predominantly hoppy options, some European styles (pilsner, oktoberfest, gose) so there is definitely variety.

We did not try the Detroit style pizza, which looks good so we'll be back for that and I will update this review when that happens.

Interior & Accommodations - frankly it's a bit plain. They've added a couple mid-size TV's near the bar area but otherwise there's really nothing on the walls and not much in the way of décor, aside from a couple small tree planters. The indoor space itself is large with mostly metallic seating, though there are some couches if you just want to chill for a while with a beverage. Otherwise there's not a lot of reason or comfort to stick around.

Washrooms / Bathrooms - I'll say this with a grain of salt, but other business owners need to take note here. This is one of the only places that has automated faucets/soap dispensers/paper towels. and a trash can near the door so you can easily use the paper towel on the door handle and dispose of it. This really shouldn't be that revolutionary, but most places only have 1 or 2 out of the 3 things automated, which makes the other ones completely irrelevant. Thank you, Bricksworth. Bad news is despite the physical space of this establishment, there are actually only 3 toilets (men's / women's / neutral) so I wouldn't necessarily want to be there on a busy weekend night and have to wait. There are multiple hand-washing stations outside the toilets that provide some flexibility for diners to clean up without having to go...

I popped in yesterday after quite some time since my last visit...shame on me. I was greeted by new to me beertender, Joe. He was friendly, chatty and very helpful. It was our first MUGGY day of the season so he steered me to the low ABV Wasting Away Mexican Lager. Then I asked tulip or pint? Joe stating this weather is a pint day. He wasn't wrong and the refreshingly light beer hit the spot!! My first time in February 2021 a fellow in our group ordered the Chicken Bacon Ranch Sriracha pizza and offered everyone a slice. I stated under Dr's post surgery orders I should abstain from pizza. He convinced me to have a super small slice... it was so delicious and didn't upset my stomach!! If I came in w my appetite I would likely order the Happiest Meal pizza or Cross Your Heart. LL he pizzas are good but those two have been favorites. The beer? Never had a bad one. Their current brewer is female Solveig. Who I found to brew my new favorite high ABV beer, Unexpected Delays. It's an 11.5% Imperial Stout but watch yourself that IS is a smooth Sipper!! The other patrons have also always been friendly when I make conversation w them. Bricksworth checks all the boxes... delicious beer, good selection of delicious pizza and wings, comfortable, well spaced out tap room, pretty fantastically rad and friendly beertenders, along w easy parking....makes Bricksworth a great stop!! I noticed yesterday that the wood wall behind the bar had random trinkets on it, so I inquired? Joe said it started out w putting a few things up but has now evolved to a Misfit Toy wall. Noted and I've already set aside a dolphin keychain to request be added to it. Thanks Bricksworth for a refreshing beer to kick off summer poured by friendly beertender Joe, looking forward to my next...

Here with 3 other guys. Place is pretty busy. The space is huge and would never guess it would be in the middle of a business district. Makes the concept pretty cool. They do make their own beers. Our waitress was at our table to start pretty quick and we just asked for water to start. Once the other guys looked at the drink menu one wanted to sample a couple beers and was told he would have to do a flight cause they are too busy to sample. Once the drinks came the two flight were left and he wasn’t sure what was what so he asked when she came back and reminded him that she told him this one was this and that was that. We all ordered our own pizza and one ordered fries as a app. The fries finally showed up after 20 min and were not really even hot. The fries are all shapes and size so the really big fries are still kinda raw and the small ones are good. Our pizzas finally arrive about 20 min later and not of of the 4 pizza are truly hot. Luke warm was mine. I got the happiest meal pizza and over all not bad. Would have been possibly better if it would have been hot. As I am watching the 4 other servers and ours not one is smiling or even looking like they are having fun. I would not give this place high remarks due to service. At this point we all agreed there is nothing special about this place or that we need to return.

I was looking for a new brewery to try out for when we visit the Eagan area. Saw Bricksworth and thought we would give it a try. It was for lunch so we thought we'd try a couple things. Went for the garlic Parm fries and a small Godfathers II pizza. It was a good sized portion of fries and when the pizza came, I was surprised to see it was a pan type pizza. I prefer the thicker crust, so it was a pleasant surprise. I ordered their 'Barrel of bricks' IPA... And they were out. (Not sure how a brewery runs out of a flagship beer... Poor planning?) So I thought I'd get a crowler to take home. Asked what the had, server said they only full crowlers on Tuesdays (it was a Friday when we were there.) so look in the mini-fridge. I looked, not a single IPA of any kind. And on a Friday?? Once again, poor planning. Hard to sell product when you don't have it. The food and service was great, I just knocked it down 2 stars because it is a brewery, and not having your standard beers available for a weekend...I was disappointed.
