Arrived late morning so the selection of pastries was limited. Parking is a little interesting as off-street spots are around the side of the building complex, but there seems to be plenty of free spots directly in front of this quaint, clean, modern and friendly coffee shop. Definitely have to hit this place up earlier to grab a look at there larger selection of treats. Although I was able to nab the last scone which surprisingly still had that good balance of dry, moist, sweet experience you come to appreciate from this yeast-less oddity. Scones are usually my goto alternate if croissants are slim pickings. Arise Nicolette coffee was a wonderful compliment to my tasty scone. Fresh, hot and didn't have to wait long for my order to be called. Plenty of high top seating against the glass for singles and standard sitting tables for couples and chatty families. Atmosphere is pleasant, family welcoming and definitely not up scale and trendy (not fancy pants) ... if you know what I mean. This place has the vibe of trendiness without the trendiness atmosphere... if that makes sence. Anyway, they have plenty of other eating options, but I'm in constant search for my early Saturday coffee and pastry stop... and this just may scratch that...
Read moreI was pleasantly surprised by this gem! My go to order is an oat milk chai tea latte, and I am very particular with what constitutes a good chai! The spice blend was subtle but had a lingering spice that made it so memorable, I went back for a second!
Although not listed on the menue there were some yummy gluten free options! I had the GF egg and vegetarian sausage sandwich, again pleasantly surprised. And the GF donut was everything I wanted from a donut!
My partner loved his depth charge and cranberry orange scone which he says were "very good" and "good quality"
Although there weren't any other customers in line or being tended to, we weren't greeted by staff, which I'm accustomed to in this state. When I smiled and said hello, one of the workers met eye contact and looked away. I do like that we were given plenty of time to look at the menu before being greeted and attended to.
The atmosphere is cute, with plenty of space. The acoustics are rough for those with sensory needs as chatter bounces...

I waited a good 8 minutes for my sandwich and when it came back it was wrong. Asked for another made correctly which they said they would do. Then I sit down to eat the fruit cup I purchased which unfortunately had mold. I asked for a refund for the fruit cup which they did but it was a bummer to me they didnât do anything else to try to make it right like refund my order for the extra long wait of the first wrong sandwhich and the long wait of a remake. Also was frustrating how the person I spoke with didnât really listen they actually cut me off to go start talking to someone else. Wasnât the best customer service unfortunately.
When you pay $17 and have to not eat anything because youâre worried about consuming mold and then have to wait almost 20 minutes only to get $4 back (only in cash) it is very disappointing way to spend your time & money and think they could have handled the...
