Butte Brewing & Pizza Company — Restaurant in Butte

So, I'm not a "Craft Beer" kinda guy, so paying 6 bucks for a beer in a place with no entertainment is not really my thing. That's on me though, so I will not be reviewing the overpriced "FooFoo" beer. We didn't come for the beer though, we came for the pizza. This place has great reviews, so we thought we needed to give it a try. The people behind the counter were very friendly. It's a really cool looking place, both inside and out. Too bad the pizza sucked. It looked great, it looked nicely cooked, but the dough anywhere inward of the outer crust was badly undercooked. The first bite from the very center was mostly a gooey, slimy, mush of uncooked dough. As you moved to the outer crust it got better and the outer crust itself was OK. I can't put my finger on it, but I didn't really care for either the sauce or the cheese. 2 stars because even though we really didn't like it, we did eat it. Probably any of the pizza chains serve much better pizza than what we had, and that sure isn't...

My experience is the owner has been continuously harassing my uncle and his property for years! Now to find out he put in a complaint about his porch because it's "unsafe"...what is your problem?! First you put in a concrete wall on HIS property. I know you're mad that you can't have his property but get over it! My uncle is an honorably discharged disabler veteran trying to take care of his autistic son and all your doing is causing problems. It's getting ridiculous. 99% of people who pass this house LOVE it because he decorates it with his skeletons, and because of his mustang with all of his skeletons in it. Rude and unhelpful staff. Derek shrugged us off upon entering the establishment when we asked for a table... "anywhere you can find". At first ask the tables appeared is use but we found our own seats outside.

Then we got to deal with Derek again when trying to order pizza. After completing the order he told us it's a 2 hour wait and when that met with our dissatisfaction, he rudely replied, "we are busy." It's a Friday night... where does it take anywhere in America to make a simple pepperoni pizza in less than 2 hours?

Traveling through MT... would not recommend.

PS... from the patio seating that we found ourselves, we called a competitor 4 miles away that was cordial and friendly and will have the pizza ready when we get there. Looking forward to a better experience...
