I attended Lauren’s tattoo training and I would recommend her and her instruction to anyone I cared about and wanted to succeed. I entered the situation with some, but not a lot of, experience tattooing. I wanted to tattoo under someone who I liked the art and location of, but the positive aspects of the course went far beyond that in a very impressive way. Lauren is a kind and community oriented person. Tattoo can harbor a lot of intimidating environments and Lauren’s studio is a refreshing safe space where knowledge is shared and not gate kept. As a student, know that you can count on being respected by Lauren, but also know that she respects her students enough to share when your work needs correction and have transparent but necessary conversations about your future as an artist and what is important for you to consider. My work improved immensely while training under Lauren and she was able to morph her instruction into a learning style that worked for me which isn’t easy to do. Lauren is such a wonderful teacher and mentor! She is truly passionate about her craft and teaching her students correct techniques and sanitary regulations. I took her brow class and her lip blushing class, and I feel so lucky that I found her instead of going to anyone else. A few of the things I love about being trained by Lauren is that she will mentor you and help you out as a new artist way after you've taken her class and you are working on your own. She is so supportive and won't leave you high and dry if you are having an issue. Another thing is the level of cleanliness she maintains in her studio is IMMACULATE. As her student you will learn proper sanitation and as a her client you will feel comfortable and safe with putting your face in her hands. Highly recommend and I would give her 10...
