Johnny's Pizza King — Restaurant in Byron Township

Order was wrong when pizza box was opened. Mind you, we h as d around a $50 order. The one 18 inch pizza was ordered sz a 1/2 and 1/2. ,Half was pepperoni and mushroom and regular cheese. The other half was ham. Sausage, onion and double cheese. Opened the box and to my surprise , the side that was supposed to be double cheese actually had no cheese at all. NONE. I immediately called, they realized that they did make a mistake when I brought it to their attention. They took my name and number and said next time they would make it right with us. What a joke that was. A month later called to order pizza, no knowledge of the screw up. They said Johnny was there but busy and would be free to talk in about 15 min and to call back. I waited 45 min, then was told Johnny was not their and hadn't been. They lied to me. I left a message and told them to have him call me the next day. Surprise, no phone call. So I called tonight again. Of course , no Johnny. The kid answering the phone said he would take care of me. Then he changed his mind. Said he wasn't given free food for something that happened months ago. I shouldn't have waited to call. Waited??? I've been calling since the night we got the crummy food. He proceeded to hang up on me 3 more times. Refused to take a message for Johnny. The worst customer service I have ever had. I wouldn't take the food if...

I gave ONE star because it's required to leave a review. My experience this evening deserves a ZERO! I called in and placed an order to go for 2 subs and an order of mushrooms. Both of the subs were horrible one wasn't even what we ordered and the other was completely soggy. I called and the guy that answered the phone was extremely rude. He explained the reason their subs are soggy is because it's wrapped foil and the steam makes them soggy. He never apologized had a nasty attitude and said "well, I don't know what you want me to do... I can't remake it because it will only get soggy again." Are you SERIOUS?? That's how he decided to respond. He said "what do you want me to do?" I told him his response was perfect and that I would never be back to his restaurant ever. He then decided to respond with "GOOD! We don't need customers like you!" GOLDEN!!!

Overall, he could've responded differently and at least acknowledged we weren't happy with our food. He could've offered to remake it and offer to put in a different container so I wouldn't be stuck with a sopping mess. I WILL NOT be back and anyone that asks I WILL give my honest opinion of not only the bad food but the or very POOR...

My wife and I are new to the neighborhood, and I'll admit, we’re usually hesitant to try a place without hearing recommendations from friends. We had a few favorite pizza spots before moving here, but we had never heard of this one. When we received a coupon in a 'Welcome to the Neighborhood' package, we figured, why not give it a shot?

We ordered a pizza tonight, and we were genuinely blown away! From the moment we opened the box, the aroma was incredible. The crust had the perfect balance of crispiness on the outside and a soft, chewy texture on the inside. The sauce was rich and flavorful, clearly made with quality ingredients. Our tomato and green pepper toppings were so fresh and full of flavor that they tasted like they were picked just for our pizza. You could tell that they really put care into making each pie.

The place has a charming, small-town feel to it, which makes it even more inviting. If you're looking for a quiet, cozy pizza parlor with exceptional pizza, I can’t recommend this place enough. We’ll definitely be ordering again and might even make it a regular spot!"

Edit: Unfortunately, I have to edit... The garlic sauce is very, very underwhelming......
