Peppino's Pizza of Byron Center — Restaurant in Byron Township

Placed an order for 2 XL specialty pizzas and lasagna for delivery, was told 45 minutes. After waiting an hour I called to check the status of food and was told it was sitting there waiting on me! I asked why, that it was for delivery... they then told me they would get a driver asap. I told them I didn't want it if it was cold and sitting there, was told it was hot still. After waiting another 30 minutes , food arrived over cooked and burnt, lasagna was over cooked and garlic bread was burnt. I called to complain and was told I would get a credit as I spent 56 dollars on this trash. Waited a week and thought to give it a try again with the credit and was told they would only give me 5 dollars off each pizza. No, that's not what I was told, if I knew that I would have brought them back and got my money back as we ate something else because the food was inedible. Refused to honor the credit I was told. Never again as this was not the first time they screwed my order up but I was willing to try and give them another chance. Take your business elsewhere, don't...

We were there for the lunch buffet. It only goes for 3 hours, and we were there for the last hour. They never refilled the sale, but fresh pizzas kept coming up until the end. The smothered fries were old and crusty, but the wings were fresh and hot. The food on the buffet was hot or miss, but overall we enjoyed it.

Our biggest frustration with this visit was that we had two babies and a table next to us had one. Looking around the dining room, we saw no highchairs. It wasn't that busy, so I know the workers saw the small children in the laps, but no one said anything.

After we were done eating, someone from our table went to use the women's restroom and discovered highchairs!

The pizza is always good. I also ordered the wings, not so good. I ordered them well done and well, that did not happen at all. I don't know if they deep fry them or bake them but they were not good! In fact, I bit into one and it felt like it was a raw wing! Thank God it wasn't! After that I couldn't eat anymore of the wings. Now, back to the other pizza, it was good not great, I also ordered the pizza well done and the middle was soggy with a ton of flop! Still love their sauce on the pizza and love that they have a thin crust option, I just wish they could figure out how to get the crust nice and crisp! I would order pizza again, just not the wings.
