We stopped at a Hardee's on our way to visit my Dad in Florida recently and had an awful experience. We had been driving all day and thought we would give Hardee's in Bryons, Georgia an opportunity because it was close to our hotel room. We placed an order online so it would be ready when we arrived. When we arrived to pick up, the employee working told us that they were out of the shakes we ordered. Due to this issue that hadn't made our order. We explained we still wanted the rest of our order and asked how we would get refunded for the shakes they couldn't make. The employee told us to just cancel the entire order, but we did not have an option through Hardee's platform. The employee said we just had to cancel the order, so I drove forward to window to talk in person. The employee was counting the drawer and did not acknowledge us for several minutes. After 5 minutes I knocked on the window to get her attention. We explained the situation and she begrudgingly said she would make our order if we just pulled up. I pulled up to wait, but kid had to use the restroom. We I got out of the car the employee ran over to the door and locked them as I went to open them. It was obvious at this point that we had to go somewhere else to eat, so we left. I called the store twice to get refund and was told I that they had no way to refund my money. They said I had to contact corporate customer service, but there is no number to call. Hardee's only has an online customer service that is a joke. I've left two complaints about getting a refund and I have not been contacted after a week. I'm only looking for a refund and will never visit them again. At LEAST 7 employees standing around, only ONE car in drive thru, (my family), a wrong order, cold, mushy chicken and HORRIBLE customer service. The order on the receipt was RIGHT, the order that came out of the window was wrong AND we didn't the baby's milk for his kids meal. This whole situation could've been made into a 5 Star ⭐ review if only the customer service was better. There was only one employee that was ABSOLUTELY GREAT. He was the guy that bought our order out to us. (yes, we had to wait on our wrong order being the ONLY car in line). I didn't catch the guys name, no name tag. Wrong the lady taking our order was not paying any attention what so ever ask us to repeat three times that we wanted orange juice. Then we get to window I asked did you get that the number 4 has cheese. She doesn't respond asked a guy if there was cheese then hands us a bag. We get down the road and realize there is two number 4s one with cheese and one without. So simple how it is so hard to just listen and pay attention when a customer is ordering.
