This was a terrible experience service-wise. This location has clearly embraced the idea of digital ordering inside and addressing the drive thru but not the customers inside.
I don't want to use the kiosk. I want to talk to a real person. I stood at the counter for five minutes and no one paid attention. My father gave in and ordered through kiosk. I gave in eventually but here's why it's a problem:
We were marathoning a 13 hour drive home and this was the only food stop we were making (to combine with a restroom stop) so you definitely want to get what you want. I wanted to try a new sauce with chicken nuggets but have BBQ as backup. The kiosk wouldn't let me choose two sauces on a six piece order. I'd gladly pay if needed to get second sauce but with no one to ask, I had no choice. I also saw a sign in the window for peanut butter crunch mcflurry, which sounded perfect for a treat after the first six hours of driving, but it wasn't an option on the kiosk and I couldn't ask if it was available. Frustrated, I changed my whole order to just a cheeseburger and small fries.
My father received his meal but not his frappe. The lady answered give me a moment on that and I knew he was in trouble because it was clear, once your order number left the "now serving" screen, you were a nobody. He finally had to flag another person and get his frappe.
The people around us were having similar frustrations and commenting. The food was okay but what a mess on service and time. And when we drove around drive thru area, we could see they weren't being served well either with two cars pulled up waiting for their orders. Since that relied on human interaction, I wonder how long that took and if they even got it right or with a smile. Never again. I am literally writing myself a note to never...
Read moreIf i could give this store negative stars i would. We came through the drivethrough last night 40 minutes before the restaurant closed. We were told they were only serving fried food as the grill was closed. We ordered 2 meals....both chicken sandwhiches but one regular the other spicey. My boyfriend asked if they still had the tropical sprite which the person running drivethru thought he said ketchup...so he repeated his question. We completed the order and paid at window 1 and proceeded to sit in the drive thru for 20 to 25 minutes. During our wait another car pulled up and asked us if they had taken our order because they weren't answering the drivethrough...it was still 15 to 20 minutes before closing. We conyinued to wait...why do you ask? Because the employees took our money and were beginning to bag our order but somewhere along the line began screwing around and having towel slapping competitions and forgot about us. It wasn't until one employee threw something at another that caused him to walk passed the window and realize we were sitting there. He opened the window and asked what size fries we had ordered and then if we had drinks. We got home and we received one meal intact....the other was a chicken sandwich with nothing but ketchup on it... and the sprite we were charged for was a water with no ice. This was the worst display of employees i have ever seen and if were their managed every single one of them would be fired.

We heard about the promotional Pokémon set and decided to pick a few up with food as a lunch adventure. We pulled up and order 3 Pokémon happy meals and asked if we could order a separate addition 2 Pokémon promotional sets, the lady at the speaker/cashier said yes it’ll be $1.70+tax each. We pulled up to the front and receive promotional sonic items. When we stated we asked for the promotional Pokémon items and saw the screen say so and even on the receipt, the lady said “but they’re in the back, I can’t do anything”. Okay then why did you punch it into the screen/receipt and not tell us you aren’t giving the promotional Pokémon items out yet? The order is incorrect, either 1) obtain the 5x promotional Pokémon items from the back, or 2) refund the 5x promotional sonic items which we did not order willingly. To which they refused and said were only getting refund for the extra 2x we purchased. That’s still incorrect and taking our money for something we didn’t order. Order #26 and Order #27 made on 01/25/2025 at 11:48am at this Byron,GA location, which the speaker/cashier lady said to pull up to 3rd window and never did anything about it or tell us anything for 15 minutes, and then had to go in and still not properly resolved.
If the lady and stated no promotional Pokémon items at the ordering speaker we wouldn’t have made the $18.58 order, and we only asked for the 5x promotional item refund of $9.09 and...
