It is always “hit or miss” with this sonic! My family loves sonic and we stop at sonic a lot even when traveling and this one is probably one of the worst! We’ve had problems before with our order being right, the food being hot, the food taking too long (it literally took 30 minutes one time to get only 4 drinks), the buttons not working properly at the pull in, but today was the “icing on the cake”. We went through the drive through and my son ordered the garlic bacon burger combo and a pretzel, I ordered a foot long coney with no bun (which is what I order every time I go to sonic because I can’t have much bread) with mayo, mustard, and ketchup and they asked me if I still wanted the chili and cheese and I said yes please. We got our food, I pulled the foot long out to make sure it was correct and had to really look because I didn’t hardly see chili and cheese on there. I asked the lady at the window if I could have more on there because there was hardly any on there and every sonic I go to typically puts a decent amount on there and she said let me check with my manager. So then another lady comes to the window, who I don’t know if she was a manager or what, but she said the general manager themselves made it, and they made it according to what they could figure out would be the best amount because it didn’t have a bun 🤦♀️. I said OK but I have never had any sonic ever give me this little of an amount and you might want to let them know that. And she asked me if I wanted a side of chili and cheese and I said yes, that would be great, thank you! They brought me a small plastic condiment container that had chili in one and cheese in the other, which obviously isn’t enough for much of anything! So disappointed that the customer service in this situation was so overlooked and actually seemed to be kind of petty about it! Read moreI think Sonic has always had some of the best drinks and frozen drinks in which they didn't disappoint here. Ordered a regular shake for a friend and Sonic Blast with cookie dough for me that were so good I can't think of the words to use ! There was more of a wait than I'd have preferred, atleast a half hour there, but I don't blame them. They were really nice, professional and did everything they could to keep everyone happy and moving as fast as possible so it kills me when people get so impatient they start being pissy to or about the employees who are just doing their best and even going above and beyond. I've noticed that ever since Covid, most places, big and small who all claimed only to cut down because of the pandemic and that it was only temporary - let it get back to normal, but never hired back all, if any more workers and half haven't set their hours back to normal. They were happy to adapt when they had too many people working but don't seem to care there's not enough now, which is definitely not something that carhops, cashiers, regular employees or management can do anything about. And I'm sure it sucks just as much for them as the customers so most places I tend to have extra patience for rather than take it out on the ones with multiplied duties these days. Going by the obvious watching them seeing how understaffed they are, it was basically like there wasn't a wait and the food was good as usual. Noone can compare to Sonics...
Read moreI'm finding it a struggle on the words to explain this review. I'm iffy and perplexed on how to say it because I'm in the middle. I love they have more diverse options then most fast food places. I love the deals they have. There amazing deals... I have had more times that the quality of food is better, but there's still some moments I struggle with the lack of quality of the food (I hope that makes sense). I struggle with this next comment because I always try to understand the workers perspective and the fact that they are just making a living g just like the rest of us, BUT this location truly struggles with finding people person quality to work fast food. A minority of the staff (not all) seem to struggle providing positive, respectful and can do attitudes (again not all). It's hard because this location is always super busy mainly at after school hours thru the night. It takes a great personality to pull thru to do this job it seems. Please find willing staff that are willing to put their all into not just their jobs but their way of providing a living.
