Cedar Grill & Pizza — Restaurant in Caldwell

I've been coming to Cedar Grill and Pizza for lunch regularly, and it's become one of my go-to spots for good reason. Whether I'm grabbing a cheesesteak, chicken sandwich, salad, pizza, or their amazing broccoli cheese bites, the food is always fresh and packed with flavor.

I really love their cheesesteak and they've actually become a ritual at my job—we all chip in and have "Cheesesteak Fridays" every week! It's that level of quality that keeps us coming back for more.

What really makes this place special, though, is the service. The crew here is incredibly friendly and always happy to help, making you feel right at home every time you walk in. The atmosphere is laid-back with that classic hometown pizza shop vibe, which is a nice break during the day.

Word to management/restaurant staff: if you're going to close early (7/3), make sure you shut off your delivery services. Or at least honor the order that comes through or contact your customer before you close.

Ordered food at 650pm on July 3rd. Google Maps stated business was open and closed at 8. Grubhub will not notify if the food is out for delivery if the restaurant uses their own drivers. Estimated delivery was 735-745. Naturally I always tend to give the restaurant a grace period. So I called close to 8 twice, no one picked up. Food never delivered. Grubhub was able to cancel my order, BUT IMAGINE TRYING TO NOW ORDER FOOD AT 830 THE NIGHT BEFORE JULY 4!

Stopped in for lunch with some friends and each of us ordered different versions of their "fat sandwiches." The category may be a bit off-putting to some, but I must say the way they perfectly proportioned the sandwiches was amazing! They were just the right size with proper ratios of the ingredients to make these sandwiches taste incredible. It also brought us back to the days of visiting our friends at Rutgers University and the food trucks that would be out late at night serving these delicious sandwiches!
