Had dinner with my wife yesterday, had reservations but needed to, the place was packed. Whoever reviewed the bread as stale is full of it. The bread was hot, fresh, and awesome! Salads were the right size, dressed nicely and crisp. I ordered the zucchini flowers as I was told by the waiter that they came in fresh hours ago. They were not crispy at all and had zero seasoning in the batter, essentially zucchini pancakes. But don't let that discourage you. The veal with wild mushrooms was top-notch! It was earthy and savory and cooked to perfection. The potatoes served with it were seasoned and cooked amazing too, the broccoli, however, was not. It erred on the side of raw, needed salt, too. My wife's short rib ravioli were a taste of heaven. The symphony of flavors was outstanding, the texture on point, the amount, just right. Service was good, though after the initial wine and water pour, there were no refills. Due to the size of the place, it tended to be very loud, but the flavor of the entrees made it easy to overlook. Before tip, the bill came to $98.

Fabulous!! We had a business dinner here for 18 people and it was no problem for Divina. The fresh bread is fantastic, I could eat just that all night. We had multiple appetizers, all came out hot and tasty. The calamari was fresh and crispy. Our food came out pretty quick as well. I had a simple pasta with red sauce, mozzarella, and basil. Simple but delightful. Even the olive oil and Parmesan were high quality! I had pistachio cake for dessert, it wasn’t exactly what I expected, I think it was flourless but delicious nonetheless. Noise level was moderate inside, but our group was making most of the noise. The staff was very friendly and made us feel warm and welcome. I am not from the area but I would love to come back in the future!

If you're looking for fabulous food you don't have to go far. This lovely Italian BYOB located on Bloomfield Avenue in Caldwell is the place. Offering both indoor and outdoor dining (weather permitting), the place is always hopping because customers can't get enough and keep coming back for more. In addition to their regular menu, they offer rotating specials from week to week. The owner, Mario, treats everyone like family whether you're a regular or first timer. Truly noteworthy is the Mozzarella (homemade by Mario) with roasted peppers and tomatoes, the arrugula salad with fennel, and his pesto sauce which is light and not heavily basil. Lots of homemade pastas, and tasty sauces, as well as unusual dishes like rabbit, goat, tripe and stuffed squid during the year. Have a yen for something you don't see on the menu? If he has the ingredients they'll be accommodating. Desserts deserve a big WOW! Most of them are made in-house, including the cheesecakes of various flavors (light and airy, creamy and never dry) and the zabaglione with some fresh fruit if available. My favorite is the Afrogado made with espresso and vanilla ice cream - they even make it decaf just for me - yum! You can't miss with dinner here - definitely...

Upon arriving we were seated quickly & bread was given to us (party of 2) bread was delicious hot & crispy My husband ordered a seafood specialty dish that had 2 clams, 2 mussels, 2 scallops & hardly any pasta. ($48.00) I ordered mushrooms pappardel it was very good...so apparently if you are a party of Two they bill you a surcharge if you stay longer than an hour & 1/2 ,we felt like we were being rushed from beginning to end , sometimes some guy with grey hair would continue to walk by our table & look at his watch... like most people who want to go out at the end of a busy work week of hustle & bustle the last thing we want if to feel rushed ..we are not those people who hang in a restaurant for 3 hrs plus but we also do enjoy a good meal without wondering if they need the table bc they...
