Waffle House — Restaurant in Calhoun

Hwy 53 Calhoun Georgia. I understand Christmas Day can be hectic. We sit at bar. I was observing the overall scenery of the employees last night. Our order was incorrect at first. Not the best I've ever had from the waffle house. Server without gloves dips her a bowl of jalapeno and then takes a few jalapeno in hand out of bowl then tilts head back and eats them in front of everyone. Only one cook with gloves the other cook no gloves pulls up back of pants and keeps on pulling meats from cooler. Server digs in ear with finger few minutes later she is biting nails of the same fingers she had just dug in ear with. I couldn't help but wonder what the hell is really going on at the Waffle House. This store is so much more than what was really going on last night. Dig in your ear with your finger and keep serving food and drinks to customers and then start biting on your nails. Good gracious your a grown woman serving customers food.. It's ok for us to wait on food in order to get it clean and hot. Thank you Ruth for wearing gloves and doing your job to...

I wish I could leave 0 stars, unfortunately that's not an option. It's Christmas, it's a very busy day. But you can be extremely busy, and send food out that's right. I've worked in the restaurant business for a while, I know how's suppose to be done. This isn't it pal. My order is wrong, I have all the base items, but my hash browns are missing everything I added. On every hash brown order. My burger? over cooked, so dry you could choke, with no garden. I used to love this location. But when I called to get my order fixed, they told me to bring the messed up food in, that's no problem. But they weren't going to make fresh, correct, food, no. They wanted to fix the old food. That requires recooking food that's already been touched. That's cross contamination. The insisted it didn't break any health rules.. but it does. I wouldn't mind throwing the mess up away so they can make it right with fresh food, but I'm not letting you break health code violations for this. And I'm definitely calling the Health Department....

We decided to go to Waffle House today because that's what I wanted for breakfast. So we get there and already I'm disappointed. Music is way too loud, the servers are slamming the dishes into the dishwasher, and the customers are having to talk extremely loud to be heard over everything. On top of all that, it was cold enough my nipples could cut glass. But isn't that typical for Waffle House? Anyway, we go ahead and find a spot and by this time my ears are hurting from how loud it really is. My wife goes to the truck and gets me a pair of earplugs and we begin to order. I get my usual, the All Star Breakfast and she orders biscuits and gravy with sausage and eggs. By the time we get halfway through our meal, we look at each other and she says she's ready to go. We finish up best we can, get up, and pay. Worst experience at this location since I moved to Calhoun 6years ago. Don't get me wrong, I'll go back but it won't...
