So I walked out of the Baskin-Robbins located on the corner of Manzanita and Cypress today scratching my head in frustration. Everyone knows that you can order a cup or a cone with two different kinds of ice cream in it, it's been going on since the beginning of ice cream shops. I asked the staff there to put two different kinds of ice cream into a quart container for me. They said "we don't do that". When I asked why I just got a blank stare. I then asked are the flavors of ice cream a different price and if so I'm happy to pay the higher price in order to get what I want. They answered "no all the ice creams are the same price". So I then asked again "why can't I have two different flavors of ice cream in a quart if I can get two different flavors of ice cream in a cup or on a cone?" Again a blank stare. At no point in time did it strike any of the three employees standing in front of me that this was a customer service issue and to simply put two different flavors of ice cream in a quart, since it makes zero difference in price, ring me up and say have a good evening sir. Whoever's training and or managing the staff there needs to play closer attention and encourage their employees to simply just use common sense. I have 20 years of customer service experience and I'm baffled at the lack of effort and complete lack of common sense constantly displayed at this store. If all the ice creams are the same price it doesn't matter if you put one type of ice cream into a quart or two or even three. The reason why I'm taking time to write this particular post is because this is the second time that I've gotten poor customer service from this location. Hopefully this reaches somebody that can affect change in the store and we won't have these types of problems moving...
   Read morei wrote and phoned br corporate over a week ago regarding my horrid experience at the sacramento store in manzanita ave. i was told the owner would contact me within 48 business hours but never received a response. i'm aware now that franchise is cheating customers and treating them horribly. i found several customers reviews who complained about the exact same issues i experienced. what i didn't know is how poorly the customer service through br corporate was. i spent my precious time writing and being on hold to speak to them in vain. either corporate didn't relay my complaint to that business owner or the owner just doesn't care what i or corporate have to say. either way, br corporate is allowing this nasty franchise to mistreat and cheat customers while carrying the baskin robbins name. disgusting. i'll update my reviews and inform buyers br corporate is flaccid and can't or won't reign in their fu**ed up franchises. i'll also unsubscribe from and never again shop at baskin...
   Read moreThey sure have some miserable teenagers who work here. Went in last night an hour before closing and it was uncomfortable. Two girls were on one with brown curly hair and one dirty blonde. Not one of them greeted us especially the brown haired girl, she was just flat out miserable looking and no matter how nice we were trying to be she seemed like she had zero interest in serving us. I can feel a little attitude coming from her. She just looked annoyed that we were even there. The dirty blonde was no different but at least we heard her talk. Yes, they were working and preparing things but they just looked like they did not want to be there. This is not the only time I experienced this at this location. I went in another time and the girl who helped us did not smile or greet us she just looked at us like, âgreat another oneâ. Could it be bad management?
