Brewsters Burger — Restaurant in California

Terrible place. Went there with a three-year-old child. It was a TERRIBLE experience. No other customers were there on a Saturday evening which really should have been a red flag. We weren't seated or even greeted as we entered, the server yelled from behind the bar to "just sit anywhere " When the server finally did come to bring us our menus we weren't offered a high chair or booster seat nor were any crayons offered even though they had a whole bunch of them behind the cash register. The food was NASTY and WAY overpriced! The burgers were not served with fried or any kind of side dish but the prices were FULL MEAL prices, upwards of $14 per burger. I ordered a plate of onion rings which, believe it or not, were burned BLACK and tasteless. We ordered a pizza for my three year-old granddaughter, and it was served last after all the adults. Meaning not only was the child made to sit there with nothing but a football game on TV AND classic rock blaring in the background she had to watch everyone else get their food whilst she got nothing and it was a good 5 minutes. The server was not dressed to greet and serve customers rather she looked suited up to clean the garage! We weren't "checked on" after our food was brought, nor were we offered dessert. The bathroom was located in the bar area and was VERY clean. For 3 adults and a 3 year old child the bill came to a bit over $80 with only 2 burgers, an order of onion rings, the fish and chips meal and a very small pepperoni pizza. No beverages and no desert, no sides except the $9 order of burnt black onion rings and the bill was STILL over $80 before tip. I called and placed a to-go order. When I got there I still had a few more minutes so I thought what the heck I'll go and play pinball. After the game my food was up I went paid and got it. Because I was starving I took a bite in the car. It was only lukewarm period for 15 plus dollars this burger should come with at least fries totally absolutely not worth the money burger patty was said to be wagyu. Was clearly a package Patty that was horrible. The Burger was soggy and hard to eat. Now don't get me wrong I love a greaseball burger but this was just messy there was sauce everywhere in the container and it was already soggy by the time I got to my car falling apart the bottom...

I'm rounding up bc we've been there twice before and it was decent. The food is pretty good, if you can get it. The service has been a bit hit and miss but the last time we went in, no one seated us. We finally sat ourselves. No one brought menus, so I got some from the bar. 10 minutes goes by and no one came by to us or the table next to us. I went up to the bar to ask if we could order. I felt bad for the girl behind the bar bc she said she was the only one there and was totally overwhelmed.
