We stopped in for dinner on a Tuesday and were greeted and seated within minutes of walking in. We enjoyed the sense of privacy, like we were in our own little corner, even though we were just inside the door to the left. We received waters promptly after being seated, and were offered other beverages shortly after. There seemed to be a fair bit of other patrons, yet everything was timed quite well. We ordered shrimp tempura and potstickers for appetizers, both of which were perfection. The shrimp tempura was light and fluffy with just the right amount of crunch, followed by a delightfully crisp, snappy shrimp, and seemingly no oil. If you love a fully fried potsticker like me, don’t skip on the ones here. Our bento boxes were well-portioned with fresh salad and slaw, rice, potstickers, 4 pc California roll, and a protein of your choice. We ordered honey chicken and classic chicken teriyaki and both were above expectations. Great value, too. We took home enough for another meal. The folks who took care of us were very attentive and welcoming. We decided to share a dessert. They initially communicated that they were out of crème brûlée but another team member in the back double checked and happily shared that they did have a few left. The kind woman comped it and insisted it was on her. Completely unnecessary but very generous and we appreciate it. We will be back and recommend if you’re thinking about it, give ‘em a shot!

The meaning of teriyaki is, the teri means "glaze" and yaki "to cook or grill". The food arrived hot and fast. It's a blend of soy, sugar, ginger and juices brushed on grilled chicken with thick noodles cooked to perfection. The teriyaki sauce is delicious, it isn't too sweet. You'll want to pour it on everything. That must be why there is a bottle of it on every table. The customer service was prompt and friendly. The atmosphere felt upscaled and relaxing. This could be a great date spot since there is a bowling alley next door. If the date is going well, you could grab a drink in the bar and play pool or have a friendly game of bowling. I don’t really write bad reviews but the food we ordered last night was awful. The tempura must have been cooked in old grease and cooked too long. It was heavy and dark in color.. I couldn’t eat it because it was so greasy. The pot stickers were deep fried and very greasy as well. The popcorn chicken was tough and dry. The staff was friendly but made it clear that they wanted us to order quickly so they could go home. We arrived at 7:30pm and closing time was 8pm. Being a local I really wanted to like this place but I was super disappointed.

I really didn’t want to write this review, but I’m still so upset about the whole situation and want to the owner to see this. From previous reviews I hope they read comments or this place will not last.

I’ve eaten at this restaurant a few times, once with a party of 10 plus people. Food has always been good, no issues with service etc.

I came in Thursday evening with my mom and sister who were visiting from out of town. We sat down around 6:50pm. There were a few tables open and we walked in and were seated right by the door, visible by the counter. It took about 15-20 minutes for us to get water and take our order. I know exactly when we ordered because I messaged my husband saying placing order now at 7:14pm.

We waited and waited, no food still by 7:40pm. So we asked our waiter kindly like hey will food be out soon? She rudely said “we’re busy and your order is big” our order is 2 rolls, soup, edamame and 1 tempura combination plate. I’m sorry for 3 people that is not a big order.

We watched as so many Togo orders were being picked up. I understand you do Togo but maybe don’t prioritize them before actual people in your establishment. And if you can’t handle both then maybe stop Togo until you can catch up with your restaurant.

We also watched as several other tables that were seated after us got all there food, and I saw many rolls and a plates go out. I realized at that moment something was wrong. So we are very hungry at this point and upset know one has come to our table to say hey sorry food is taking a little longer or I misplaced the ticket? Nothing not one apology or anything. So we ask if we could get our food Togo since they seem to prioritize them first. We were told there working on it and yes will be for Togo. We waited another 10 minutes even after that when we could have just walked out and probably should have. We also watched our waitress and another waitress kept looking at our table and whispering behind the counter.

The other Waitress brought our food finally at 8pm and said sorry ladies and here is the bill. No other apology no other explanation. Also we didn’t expect free food, but would have been nice to offer a discount, hey take off the one roll at least or edamame? But nope nothing. When we asked why took so long, why did you serve tables that came in after us? She just stared at us like it was our problem and not hers. She also claimed to be the manager which I don’t believe, but I’m sorry if this lady is your manager you need a new one. Or send her to customer service training. So unprofessional, very rude. (Didn’t get her name, but Hispanic lady with hair in bun, usually at the counter) All we wanted was clear communication about what happened with our food and a better apology than one given. Sadly we left our to-go food on the table and just walked out. I won’t be coming back and will advise my friends and family...

Very unprofessional and terrible service.

Walked in to this establishment at 6:30pm, walked out at 8, having not been served. Ignored and definitely not properly dealt with by "management". (In quotes because our server also claimed to be the manager, possible but seemed unlikely with how we were treated)

It was a Thursday at dinner time and we were seated quickly but not acknowledged for about 15 to 20 minutes after. That was not great but hey it was dinner time, we finally were able to order at 7:12. After 40 minutes we asked our server if our food was coming, there response was, "We're busy, it's coming".

We waited and then we noticed that a few tables that had been seated after us received their food and countless takeout guests were helped so we were becoming impatient as it how now been an hour and our food was no where to be seen and neither was our waiter.

We walked to the counter and then asked if our food was almost done and if it could possibly be made Togo because we were now late to other obligations. The server responded quite rudly with "fine". At no point did someone say "let me check on your order", or "unfortunately we are backed up but I can assure you it's being made" NOTHING, no communication to us at all about why it had been an hour.

Now very hungry, COMPLETELY frustrated, we were then asked to have a seat once more and wait. We were waiting for another 10 minutes when another lady walked over with our order and the check. She set it down and said "sorry here you go". The first and only time I might add anyone apologized.

We asked if we might be able to speak to a manager because frankly we were not "served" or even communicated with at all in the time we were there and felt that the circumstances at minimum should have dictated some sort of small discount or at least empathy or apology. The girl who brought the check simply said she was the manager and "there's nothing we can do, here's your check".

Totally brushed off and ignored AGAIN! We simply left. We will not return and do not recommend eating here for anyone who would like to be treated like a human being.

I have nothing to say for the food, because quite frankly, I didn't have a chance to try it. I hope that they can learn from this and get more adequate management to better represent proper service to guests.

Just one last side note, we were a 3 person table, not a large party. We ordered 3 rolls, a miso soup, edamame, and a bento box, with no substitutions or changes and were told that we had a "large order" which was the primary cause of the delay. Just so you know what not to order if you do try to eat here.

So I leave you, sad, hungry, and completely...

The management is horrible. For the second time in a row I was not served my roll while my family was served theirs after an hour and 30 minutes of waiting. The first time I just said take it off the bill... food never came and we tipped the waitress. The second time I asked them to not include it on the bill and check out. They brought the roll 10 minutes later, I told them I don't want to get charged, my family already finished eating dinner. The tables around me said they would take it and pay for it.... The waitress said she would need to ask their manager. Instead of comping us as any restaurant would do, the manager decided to give it to the surrounding tables at no charge and send me home hungry with a full $90 bill of what we did receive. I never saw a manager and never received a sorry. I just saw my meal be disbursed to the tables around me. I thanked the manager as I left " thanks for sending me home hungry while I watched my meal be given away for free to the other tables" she said "your welcome I'm glad" with hand gestures and all. I proceeded to explain to the waiting customers (about 12) that while it takes an hour and a half for a roll that never gets delivered and then I watch surrounding tables eat it as complimentary. I hope you go somewhere else with your business. I have never experienced such absolute incompetence and lack of customer service. Absolutely unbelievable. Mind you, I had no interaction with the waitress but a couple times, and gave tons of "thank you" to the waitress staff anytime they brought anything to us.. I'm very cognizant of making sure that people serving you are the most appreciated in the room, above and beyond. Owner, ask your wait staff! They are under...
