Capriotti's Sandwich Shop — Restaurant in California

I have never written a review before but I am mortified after my experience at this sandwich shop so I felt I had to. My mom and I are from colorado and just stopped in the area for the night and figured this place sounded good. We got there around 8:50pm and my mom ordered the smallest size possible of a sandwich and that was it. They were fairly busy but this was just crazy. at 9:20 my mom kindly checked in with the lady working to make sure they hadn’t forgotten her order or anything and the lady was rude and said it was coming. We preceded to wait 10 more minutes and at this point people who had come in way after us were getting their food and we still were not. my mom went up and kindly asked again to which she watched the lady throw the meat on the bread and aggressively slap it together, throw it in a bag, and shoved it towards her without saying anything, not even apologizing. At this point my mom was on the verge of tears and had to just run out. The young girl working the cash register was very kind and apologetic but tho older lady’s behavior was unacceptable and ruined my moms night. I don’t care how good the sandwich was, no sandwich is worth the 30+ minute wait and rude costumer service. Very upset with this experience and will not return nor do...

Thru do not do delivery. I created an account and trued to order only to find they offer pickup only. I called the store and the worker had no idea how to explain it. First she says yes they deliver if I place online order. I told her it's only giving option for pick up and that Google showed they do delivery. Then she says the employees do not deliver and that the company picks a delivery service like door dash or Uber Eats... none of those options are available on the Capriotti's website lol... I just hung up with her because she doesn't know what she's talking about. Will order elsewhere as all the other major sandwich shops...

Crazy High prices and the credit card machine added a tip on its own without my tapping to add. I was getting ready to push no tip and the register just went through the transaction. When I looked at the receipt I was charged $3.67 tip? The bill was $31 for a cheese stake sandwich with just meat and cheese no drink no nothing. The line is RIDICULOUSLY long. Horribly small restaurant space for how busy this place is and $30 for just a sandwich. Insane prices. The sandwich may be good but not that good and not worth the 20 min wait for them to make...
