NOT JUST GOOD FOOD, BUT A MANAGER AND DISTRICT MANAGER THAT ACTUALLY STICKS WITH YOU TO SOLVE PROBLEMS ! I have an "app" for Carl's Jr. that gives you points towards certain food. I tried to remember my password and lost the account. Each time I tried to obtain a new password, it would not allow me to get into my account. This occurred in the middle of June, 2025. I found that Carl's Jr. does not have any phone number for a person to be able to speak with from customer care. I brought this up to Jamie, the manager at the Pico Canyon store and she took the time to see what she could find out. She even gave me the telephone number of the District Manager, Stephan Goldberg. I tried many times to get a response by email from customer care to no avail. Mr. Goldberg got involved the beginning of July and tried to help me in getting some type of communication. He continued to keep in touch with me and advocate for me to get some type of resolution from the Customer Care department that had not responded to any of my emails. Finally, on July 29, 2025 text communications were successfully received from someone in the customer care department who finally was able to help me. I could not get over the fact the District Manager would continue to get in the middle of trying to help me with the Carl's Jr. app as he had responsibility for many stores in Southern California. The Pico Canyon Manager, Jamie and her staff always work hard to make sure I and the people I come in with almost every Sunday are well taken care of. Now seeing how their upper management is willing to get involved in solving problems of customers, I couldn't be more grateful. I have not seen this level of care in the other fast food chains in...
Read moreThis location used to be an excellent corporate-owned restaurant. However, the Carl's Jr. Corporate recently sold it to the local franchisee.
The local franchisee has shown disregard for customer service, cleanliness, and any respect for anyone visiting their restaurant locations. I would highly recommend avoiding all Carl's Jr's in the Santa Clarita area.
It has been my experience over the past several years that the franchise staff is terrible (sometimes horrible people, sometimes simply overworked, understaffed and underpaid), the food is expensive and often has been sitting (old), and the restaurants are rarely clean. They try to keep their drive-thru numbers low by speeding people through and pre-cooking a lot of the food and keeping it in steam trays. As a result, people end up at home with very old food.
The franchisee owners may be nice people, but they are clearly in it more for the money than they are for a good customer service oriented experience. Corporate oversight of all Carl's jr. Franchises is lacking, but in Santa Clarita it is particularly so.
This is the problem with franchises across the country, but most particularly with Carl's jr. Sadly the corporate-owned stores now amount to less than 50, but they are the only ones I will visit-so it's safe to say my visits now will be few and far between.
I will never go to a Carl's Jr franchise location because of all these issues, but...
Read moreCould have been a medical emergency that the cook used the incorrect meat and when asked, blatantly lied to manager, sending the food on its way.
My health doesn’t allow me red meat, unfortunately. (There are a lot of delicious steak houses I’d eat at.) So when I went out on a limb, trying the Ghostburger at Carl’s Junior, I asked for the Impossible Burger at the drive-thru. I did order regular hamburger for my dog, so she wouldn’t feel left out.
Jamie was the initial cashier and so sweet. The manager was also accommodating, even going as far to double-check with the lying cook to ensure it was the Impossible Burger. The cook should be fired. Not because of an honest mistake that may have been made, but because they lied about it after.
I can’t say that it hospitalized me, because I have a very high tolerance for pain—thank the gods. But about an hour after, my entire body began stiffening up. Throughout the night the pain increased, and today, hours later, I’m still struggling to move.

Not only will I avoid this careless cook’s restaurant, but I may avoid restaurants that promise substitutes. That...
