El Pollo Feliz — Restaurant in California

Ordered two breakfast burritos. A #21 add bacon, no potato and no cheese (so chorizo, egg and bacon). My husband repeated the order 3 times at the order mic then had to repeat himself again at the pick up window. The receipt still didn't show the correct order.....the person taking the order didn't understand so we had to repeat again until he and another employee understood the order. We then were charged an extra $1 for the bacon addition (no problem, as expected). We get home and the burrito has NO chorizo and has potatoes. I honestly don't know how much more clear he needed to be!!! When we called after getting home, the employee said the manager was busy so my husband proceeded to tell him the issues and the employee said "oh ok." What the hell!!! No sorry, no nothing. Finally a manager came on the phone and asked if we wanted them to re make the burrito. We were already home and it was pouring rain- never going back to this place again. First off I’d like to say I’ve been eat at this location since they took over tom!s that was there so I’m NO NEW customer.I have usually a good experience but unfortunately I don’t do well with companies taking my money. I ordered a steak nachos and was double charged and told by the manager to call my bank. No compensation no refund now I have to dispute a charge and get a new card because it’s a fraudulent charge and all I said was could we resolve the problem. Not a man that usually does this but moving into the neighborhood I grew up in and then not servicing the neighborhood customer is INSANE. We have been coming here for a couple of years, but previously because it’s out of our way and the customer service was normally subpar, we didn’t visit El Pollo Feliz very often.

HOWEVER. If service continues to be as Great as it was today we will make more of an effort to give this establishment our business. We stopped by this evening about a half an hour before close, and were helped by an AMAZING staff member named Cassandra. She was kind, thorough, and attentive. An attitude that immediately made us eager to come back again.
