Earlier tonight, two employees at this Pollo Loco location:
a) discriminated me against for my disability;
b) smirked at me as I attempted to explain my disability and would not stop interrupting;
c) continued arguing with me—I can only guess for I having a disability; taking pains to charge and bring wear my hearing protection;
d) unabashedly made a comment about my clothing; bumbled something inaudible;
e) doubled-down on verbally attacking me even as I practically “advocated” for them by letting them know I could sue them for their;
f) to stop pushing their luck and told them that they entering lawsuit territory and that I can sue each one individually;
f) was struck dumb when of them told me to go ahead and sue.
Duke University’s Misophonia Institute engages in “soft advocacy”— pamphlets, seminars, etc.
I, on the other hand, use “hard advocacy.” I am 59-years-old and I’m of tired of having to explain myself to others for my disability. I’m tired of watching my government do nothing as children with misophonia announce their suicides on Reddit.

I gave those employees so many opportunities to basically shut their, and they refused. It MUST have something to do with my appearance. They just gleefully waltzed their way...
Read moreWorst location ever. I don't usually eat at this locations because the brand is pretty delicious for fast food. But, I came here for something they advertise. Their birria box. I got a burrito. Which I asked for sour cream on the side. And a classic tostada. And drinks.
So let's review the 🌯 burrito. It was good of course it's advertised and the flavor is there. But I asked for sour cream on the side. I've never mix it up like that. So it wasn't my preference. Unfortunately they still added sour cream, and on top of adding sour cream to the food, they gave it to me on the side. This place really lacks communication. And if there was an issue and the employee misunderstood me, he could very well clear it up or repeat the order as usual.
Next I got a salad . The classic tostada. Which unfortunately, barely had any rice and beans. It had a huge handful of lettuce. The chicken was stale and cold. It was hard. It just had many corner pieces of burt charr. Not the good kind.
The bitter, nasty dry chalky kind.
Luckily I'm a fan of the cilantro sauce so I had dumped all that sauce on this nasty , sad of a meal , tostada salad. And it definitely gave it the flavor.
I didn't eat all day, so when I got my salad, I was expecting freshness. There was no Pico de Gallo. No color. No love. There was just a sad, depressing salad. As if I had the fault of someone's unhappiness. This location doesn't have the restaurant qualities as other locations. I guarantee I will never come to this location. 💯 I do not recommend it.
Ps. The picture I took I had already eaten . But there lacks ingredients and the lack of rice and beans is sad. I may have eaten about 8 beans total! And perhaps a tablespoon of rice . If that....
Read moreI had the worst experience tonight. I will be calling whoever will stay on the phone with me tomorrow. Each time I try to talk to them them either hang up on me or put me on hold and then it hangs up. I ordered through the app, sat in the curb side pick up for 10 minutes after my ready time was up. Knocked on the door and 2 different employees told me my food was coming over the course of the next 20 minutes. Someone else drove up and got their food, the employee who came out told me the food was being prepared and quickly walked back inside. I sat some more in my car. I knocked on the door again after 30 minutes after the ready time in the email and a lady said she was on her break and couldn't help me and couldn't even go tell the employees to bring me my food. She told me to walk into the drive through line and ask them for my food at the window. I did and that angered the employees and they told me I could not get my food without waiting in the drive through line, which had 8-10 cars in in at that time. My email said to go to the counter inside and get my food. It did not say to wait in the drive through. What's the point of mobile ordering if I still have to wait in the drive through? I have called several times since I left after waiting 45 minutes and now they hang up on me when I ask about canceling my order and getting my 13.29 back. I am very angry and hope to talk to someone who will listen on the phone! I'll call back...
