California Health and Safety Code Section 11047

(a) Every public eating place which is operated for profit and which has a floor area of more than 750 square feet shall provide and maintain for the use of patrons a room or rooms, not less than 30 square feet in area, for the use of such patrons for the purposes of defecation and urination.

(b) No charge shall be made for the use of a room or rooms provided for in subdivision (a).

(c) The room or rooms provided for in subdivision (a) shall be located in a plainly marked and accessible place and shall be equipped with water closets, urinals, and lavatories.

(d) The room or rooms provided for in subdivision (a) shall be kept clean and in good sanitary condition.

Sacramento Municipal Code Section 10.24.050

(a) Every public eating place which is located within the city limits of Sacramento and which has a floor area of more than 750 square feet shall display in a conspicuous place, clearly visible to the public, a sign in letters at least 12 inches high stating the following:

"TOILET AVAILABLE TO ALL"

(b) No charge shall be made for the use of a toilet in a public eating place which is required to display a sign pursuant to this section.

Explanation

These statutes and regulations require all public eating places in California with a floor area of more than 750 square feet to provide and maintain a toilet for the use of patrons. These toilets must be accessible to all, including passers-by. Public eating places are also prohibited from charging for the use of these toilets.

Came in and sat at the register for several minutes before even being acknowledged by the person working (who looked at me at least twice). To be fair, he was by himself and it was warm inside, but he moved so slowly and acted like he couldn't be bothered with customers. My wife ordered a large fountain drink (not realizing they only had one size) and he gave us a tiny (maybe 16oz?) cup which they charge $3 for. When we asked him about it, he blew us off saying he doesn't know about it, they only have one size and he just pushes a button. Very disappointed as the last time we were here the employee (also working by himself at the time) was extremely friendly and personable. Can't say I will ever want to return here. Also, while this didn't directly affect us, several delivery drivers were there or came in while we were there and his communication with them was very standoffs as well. Another did come in towards the end of our wait that had much better customer service, though.

Update: reply to owner - the acknowledgement of the heat was in reference to the employee possibly being uncomfortable. It didn't bother us. The rating was because the original employee was unfriendly and unprofessional. The SECOND employee was much better, and also acknowledged that the prices on the drinks were expensive (and not at all...

Ok first of let me say this , you all have a customer for life… today we wanted to try something new. So we googled food near us and this was about half way through the list… we almost skipped it because if a 2 star review that we saw first then we concluded that it was a bogus review!! I got my family’s order called the store and a young man answered and said “hello.” Honestly wasn’t sure if it was a restaurant lol but we placed our order and was advised the time would be about 20ish minutes… not a big deal

I got my car and I realized I forgot to tell them no “spicy on the quesadilla or anything hot because it was for my almost 4 year old and she is super super picky

Fast forward I get to the restaurant and justin is helping me and he was such a delightful person and he was training the young man I talked to on the phone..

To Justin you are amazing my kids ate everything and I mean everything thank you this was a first!!!

And me and my hubs are going to be coming back we absolutely love this place the meats were so tender and delicious and the bread was amazing along with the baklava! Thank you so much keep up with the amazing work and food
