place is loosing it, food its okay most times. Im a fan of Pastor meat, this place has one of the worst of it. But im also a fan of tripa tacos, this i can't complaint but i always have to ask them to make sure to fry the tripa good on the parrilla.
aguas frescas are old most of the times, horchata too sweet and sometimes u can taste the aged milk or whatever it is on it. ghe jamaica u can definitely taste when its old and even worst when it passed its time.
salsas are a defining element of a mexican joint, its hard to find one, sadly this one isnt. their salsas are old, watery and for the most part tasteless. i could almost guarantee that if they made a fresh batch every day, 2 times a day, without using "fake" ingredients, like putting squash instead tomatillo, I bet the expense will be the same after not having to throw it away. please....
bathrooms are "clean" but smelly.... the kind of place u just use when u must go.
overall service its ok, prices are ok, but quality is degrading slowly. i remeber this place being lot more...
Read moreThe waitress was a great sweet lady! She made us feel very welcome. Although this was my fiancés and my first time eating here since we just moved to sac. We hadn’t eaten all day and were excited to order here. Once we got our food it looked amazing, I got al pastor nachos and he got an al pastor wet burrito. we had gotten salsa but it smelt very bad so we didn’t end up eating the salsa. But I don’t think it mattered since we woke up today with FOOD POISONING. I’ve been up since 1am back and forth in the bathroom and my fiancé has been there since 6am. Come to find out one of my friends recently went there and she had food poisoning also from a burrito. I’m not sure what’s going on but this place has potential but maybe the food needs to be looked over better for expiration dates or even...
Read moreI used to love coming here! But the last couple of times has been beyond awful. I ordered pozole and when I got it there was no meat. They brought me out a plate of meat to add when I told them. And this last time I ordered taco. My family got their food and was almost done and my two chicken tacos still hadn't come out. Finally they brought it out and they looked odd. I opened them up to one taco had 4 tiny pieces of chicken and the other had 2. They shoved it full of lettuce and cheese to hide the fact they didn't put me at in it. The rice was super crunchy like it was the bottom of the bucket as well. My husband ordered carnitas and it was a plate of greasy with mushy meat. He actually came home and threw up. That is the last time I go there!!! I don't recommend you waste your time...
