I placed a big order for 6 people last Friday night, using their ordering website. I sent my brother to go pick it up, with a screenshot of everything we ordered. He didn’t go thru the bags to check everything but just asked the counter staff twice to confirm that everything on the receipt was in the bags. The staff supposedly was very confident that everything was there. He got back with the food and it was missing an order of fries and a soda. We called the restaurant to report what was missing and asking what to do. They said they keep a list in the back of people who have credits and they would credit me for the missing fries and soda and I could come back and order something and they would give me the appropriate discount on my food. Generally the food was delicious on Friday night and we were very pleased. The standouts were the chicken souvlaki and the falafel, the tzatziki and some kind of lemony yogurt sauce, and the Greek salad. The portions were large and most of us had enough for leftovers. Today, 3 days later, I decided I would follow up on my credit and get some more falafel. I came in to the restaurant to order in person and ensure that my credit on some list ‘in the back’ still worked. The counter staff were very nice and courteous and remembered us from Friday. To make up for the mistake, they gave me a little more falafel than what I was expecting as a substitute for fries and a soda. They made the falafel fresh and asked if we wanted hummus and/or tahini. Since we have hummus at home, we opted for the tahini. When we got the falafel home, we were quite disappointed in it. It was much denser, chewier, and tougher than it was on Friday. And the tahini was way too bitter. Because we were so hungry, we managed to eat the falafel, but we simply couldn’t eat the tahini. I suspect the falafel balls were simply packed too tight before dropping in the oil. So my final assessment is that their food isn’t consistent. And you have to double check your order if it’s a big order. The folks working there are pleasant enough though. I’m not sure if I will try this...

A really great place. First, the food is quite tasty. I liked the open format applied to greek food. The whole build-your-own wrap is fantastic. I went with a fairly straightforward gyro on my first try, so I'm looking forward to the next time so I can play with a different style.

Second, the team behind the counter was really great and made for an excellent experience. They went above and beyond, and I truly appreciated them. The context: traveling with the fam and needed a quick dinner to run. My wife was going to just eat some cold leftovers in the car. After I'd gotten back to the car, I said to her "you know...they seemed really cool. I bet they would heat that up for you". Went back in...they didn't have a microwave, so instead threw it on the stove and reheated it for her.

Thanks ya'll at Gyromania. I wish you much success and keep on doing what you do. I'll be stopping back next time I'm on that...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Absolute Gem!

Gyromania is hands-down one of the best Mediterranean spots I’ve ever experienced! From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with warm hospitality and the irresistible aroma of fresh spices and grilled meats. Their gyros are packed with flavor, perfectly seasoned, juicy, and wrapped in soft, warm pita. The portions are generous, and every bite feels like a trip to Greece.

What truly sets Gyromania apart is the quality and consistency. The ingredients are always fresh, the service is quick and friendly, and the menu offers something for everyone, whether you’re a meat lover or vegetarian. Don’t skip the sauces — the Special Spicy Green Sauce and garlic are absolutely addicting!

Whether it’s a quick lunch or a casual dinner, Gyromania never disappoints. It’s become a go-to spot I always recommend to friends and family. If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re seriously...

When you enter the restaurant you are given such a warm welcome! The food is amazing, the place is always kept very clean, and the customer service is just TOP NOTCH! Today I chose the breakfast burrito with Al pastor. I had it made with french fries instead of hash browns, and the Oh My God Sauce (that is literally the name of the sauce). You can choose one of several different meat options (bacon, homemade sausage, and Al pastor). IMO One of the best and biggest breakfast burritos in the SCV area. I also recommend the fresh made cucumber lemonade water. Very refreshing! Give them a try. I have had other dishes in the past at both locations and have NEVER been disappointed.

Generally I would not order food from here again. There was no taste, no flavor. It feels like eating cardboard. But the portions were big that’s why I gave 2 stars. We ordered: 1. Falafel wrap The falafel it self was not good, I have no idea how to explain how untasteful it is. It is big but no taste. And the sauce was over done. 2. Salad plate (chicken and beef) Both meats were like a rubber or chewy and again more sauce but the pita bread was nice. 3. Gyromania fries This is the only plate I would say was good. I didn’t like the fries: over salted. But the lamb was good and tasteful with flavors.

I’m not sure what happened to them but this is our takeout order for the sirloin and gyro plates. We ordered online and even included a tip which I don’t normally do for pick up. But I loved this place. There’s barely any sirloin or lamb. And the amount of fries is inconsistent. I also don’t like the way they placed the tzatziki and skordalia in the same compartment. They used to use that space for just the tzatziki and the skordalia would come in a different container. This is so disappointing for $19 a plate. We will be looking for a new go to Greek restaurant now.
