I am very surprised to see the high reviews on Google. I implore you to read the Yelp reviews before you buy from Bob’s.
I went into the store on 10/6/24. I needed furniture as my husband and I were moving into a new place.
We ordered items from the Bettie collection including a dining set with 4 chairs, an 86" couch, a chair, an ottoman, a dresser, a tv stand, and a set of nesting tables. Again, all from the same collection. We'd seen the collection online but wanted to confirm what everything looked like in the showroom. In the showroom and online everything that is part of this collection has wood legs in the same matching color in all of the items.
We placed the order, paid for white glove delivery service and goof proof protection. It is now December 20th and we still do not have the couch, ottoman and chair with the legs matching the rest of the collection. Everything but these items are in a dark walnut color and what has been attempted to be delivered three times now is an orange wood color.
Their customer service representatives aren't helpful at all and blame the store for displaying the items in the wrong color. But why would the collection items not be in the same color? They couldn't answer my question. The website also has the items displayed in a dark walnut color (see photos) but again that isn't what is being delivered. At one point they offered to mail us just the legs in the dark walnut color, the problem is I needed a total of 13 legs for the three furniture pieces and they only sent 2 and they sent them in the wrong color again. My new place has a mismatched collection because they refuse to even acknowledge that what they're advertising versus what is being delivered is incorrect. Not one of their reps will verbally agree to say that the colors do not match even though they have photos that I have sent them as well as all photos from the three delivery crews who have come. One of their reps had the audacity to say I was color blind, even though they had received the photos from the delivery team who informed them that the legs were indeed the wrong color.
I’ve scheduled a 4th delivery at this point and we'll see if they arrive as they should. They offered us a discount for the inconvenience but it only equates to a price match as the set is now on sale. Not really anything significant.
The staff at the store great but everything else is unfortunately terrible. Save yourself the time and money and don't bother.
Update: after a 4th delivery attempt. The colors of the legs delivered still do not match and their customer service line is no help. They are falsely advertising the Bettie set couches in store and online with a dark walnut color set of legs but are delivering a cherry oak color instead. BEWARE OF FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. Humberto a store manager, Manny a customer service rep that helped me more than any other after a month of awful treatment and a really bad delivery and experience since then. And the third person was the sales woman we bought from Bozena. Those 3 people kept them from getting a 0 star review. As of now I do not recommend Bob's for anything mechanical in nature. The furniture was not installed correctly and took a month of me fighting with them to fix it. Thank you to Manny who followed through with the reimbursement.

Update 5/8/18 I received a call today from a customer service/relations rep from Bob's because they saw my review and take them seriously which is a wonderful practice, he was very professional and completely understanding of the situation and was very adamant on making sure things like this do not happen again. I gave them another star based off this call and the way Dave handled it. This call is the greatest reason for me to be shopping at Bob's again, and giving them more of my business. Thank you Dave for great customer care.
So after about 9 months of this bed i have come to realize that the bed is extremely wobbly and seems to be getting worse. It has now become a safety issue as its unstable and feels as it may collapse. I have set up a scheduled service and informed the writer that i am unavailable until a certain time and yet they scheduled the appointment for a time I am not. The response of the team was to transfer me to customer care where the young lady told me all she could do was set up a different date and just hope they put a time i can use. Read moreWow did we score when we went to Bob’s. We walked in with “NO” intentions to purchase anything. We were at first turned off with the “up system” Bob’s uses. I said to my wife I don’t want to be hassled like on a used car lot BUT, to my surprise the sales person gave us plenty of space and freedom which I did not expect. We just wanted to look around and get some ideas because we are doing a full restoration of the interior of our home. Rachel greeted us and we told her we were just looking around to get some ideas. She said to take your time. I’ll be here if you have any questions. She came back through after we saw most of the store. We did have a few questions and she directed us to a sofa & loveseat to hone in on what we were looking for. Going back-and-forth with questions and answers we ended up purchasing a sofa and love seat! We went back a few days later to possibly look at some other furniture and asked for Rachel. Melody said that Rachel was off that day and she would be glad to help us out until Rachel returns tomorrow. We had a few more questions about different fabrics and construction. Melody was seriously on her game! These ladies did such a good job on two separate occasions that I asked to speak to their manager. Pam introduced herself and I proceeded to explain to her that I have been in sales my entire career and taught sales techniques. These two ladies were so good I thought they must have attended one of my sales seminars! There was absolutely no pressure. Just positive information with great probing on what we were looking for.
