La Estrella Tacos & Seafood — Restaurant in California

I love the ladies that work here, especially the earlier shift. And the cook is awesome! However, the new night manager or whatever his role is, is on my last nerve. I order the same thing every time I come here and if I go for lunch, there is never any issues! Ever. But ever since this guy started showing up for dinner shift, my order is always wrong. I ask for no onions on my tacos, add whole beans and cheese (I still want the cilantro & salsa) but i get no cilantro and no salsa and sometimes the wrong type of cheese. I always ask for 2 extra salsas with the chips & during lunch that is no issue, but at dinner he ALWAYS forgets to put it in the damn bag. I cannot stand him. It makes me hate going for dinner. I love their food, always recommend it. But I no longer recommend the dinner shift if you want your order to be correct. I would never blame the cook, because it's the front that has to relay the info. And it's always wrong now that this guy is there. And he's always chatting with the staff, I never actually see him working. Its...

So far this place that I am aware of has three locations in just Manteca alone. One on main St.. Across from the BurgerKing, as well another on the corner of union and lathrop road next to the starbucks & the origanal one that first opened on manteca to my knowledge is located in the grocery outlet and $1tree shopping center on the corner of northwoods and E.Yosemite. that's the very first intersection headed west into town just past the 99 freeway. So let me just get right too it. Does not matter which location you decide to go too. They all have an outstanding great flavor with every item on the menu. I particularly enjoy the fresh drinks that they make with fruits and veggies. I give this place a double thumbs up. Thank you La Estrella for all the great taste that you have to offer. Lastima de burrito. I ordered two super burritos de tripa and 2 large horchatas - $30. I will NEVER order at this place again. Horchata was okay. Bit into the burrito and it was a soupy mess bite, nothing but crema and salsa. It was mostly that plus beans and rice. I literally was halfway done with it and had only had 2-3 pieces of tripa. A beefy 5 layer burrito from Taco Bell has more meat than this. Do they substitute the meat they put in a super burrito over the regular burrito for as much sour cream with the meat flavor as they can? Aside from that, I asked if they could make it crispy- she said of course- and it was not. The cashier let us sit at the window for 10 minutes before acknowledging us to pay for our food.
