EDIT: Papa Murphyās reply below is performative ādid they even read my review? The wait they apologized for was not the problemāI expected a wait and said so in my review. The problem was the poor service, yet they donāt address that in their reply. Why??
They now want me to recount my experience again using a link? No. Iāve already let them know what happened when they emailed me following my visit, and they never replied.
Donāt be fooled into thinking they care by their reply to my review. itās all for show. I donāt want anything from them to āmake it rightā I just wanted to share the sh!t show that was my experience.
REVIEW: Terrible service, high prices. Food is good, but due to the terrible service during my most recent visit, I wonāt ever be back.
I arrived on time for my online order pickup, and proceeded to the online order pickup counter. There was one customer there already so I waited behind them. After several minutes, that customer got their pizza and left.
So I stepped forward to the counter and waited. And waited. And waited. There were lots of employees buzzing around behind the counter, they walked by me multiple times, but never acknowledged me. It was super busy, so I remained patient knowing thereād be a wait. Several other customers came in and lined up behind me while I continued to wait.
After many minutes of waiting, an employee came to the counter, stood in front of me then looked over my shoulder to ask the woman behind me for the name on her order. She then turned, grabbed the womanās pizza and handed it off. I was clearly at the front of the line, I had yet to be helped, or even acknowledged.
That employee then skittered off to make pizzas and I was left there waiting again, now many mins since I arrived. Eventually, I had to flag down another employee and ask about my order, which hadnāt even been started yet (Iād ordered it over an hour before).
Common sense would dictate that the person in the front of the line is helped first. Even if the employee thought Iād been helped, wouldnāt the most sensible thing be to confirm before helping the second person in line?
With so many pizza options in EG, I canāt see ever coming...

I had originally given this place 4 stars, but based on service over the last month I've had to downgrade Online order is kind of a joke these days. Why put in a pick up time if you still have to wait 20 minutes or so for your order to be ready? Yesterday, my husband went in 45 minutes after his scheduled pick up time, and it WASN'T READY!! Seriously people? They did call him another 45 minutes later (now we're at 90 minutes) to ask if he still wanted the order, then after saying NO, was told it would be referred to the manager and it would take at least 10-14 days before being refunded. I wouldn't be bothered if this was a one off situation, I get that things happen, but this has been a thing for us over the past month.
Orders have been incorrect, however, since my husband orders and I go pick up, I have to trust that he put the order in the way he wanted it.
I know they have new ownership, but this really isn't the way to generate positive word of mouth
I hope you guys get it together soon, as you are much closer to my home, but for right now, we're gonna have to change locations
Update: we have returned to this location. The staffing issues seem to have been resolved and the quality is back in up to our expectations. Keep up...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent for a walk thinking that our pizza would be done by the time we got back... When we got back, we found the pizza had not been started and the three employees instead were talking and laughing engaged in no work at all.
They immediately 'jumped into action', working furiously as though somehow we wouldn't have noticed that they had done nothing to prepare our food.
The only girl in the place (two males were behind the counter as well) as quickly as I imagine is humanly possibly threw together the worst looking pizza I've seen in a long time.
Minimal toppings, slow service, no obvious changing of gloves worn by employees... And we had to wait for her to through together our pizza after having given them enough time to complete it to begin with.
If I was the franchisee here, or the manager... I'd make some staffing changes. This lax approach in a restaurant invariably hints at other operational issues (ie cleanliness, food safety etc...).
The most indellible impression made? I just paid 15 dollars for a pizza that took 45sec to make. I'll save that money in the future.
