I met up today with Pastor John Mark, and we enjoyed some steak omelets at this lovely establishment. I've always been a fan of the Happy Steak brand, and when it turned into Perkos, I followed the trail. I am pleased that not every Perkos has turned into a Huckleberry's.
I really love a good tri-tip you know nobody else in America eats tri-tip like the Central Valley does I mean every region has its own special cut you know that they go to but the Central Valley loves its tri-tip and they know how to cook a tri-tip to a delicious perfection and Perkos cooking is no different...
I also had a cup of chili with cheese and onions, and it was incredible. If you are a fan of chili ...this one gets really thick without the crackers and was a delicious meal in itself. I could have totally had two bowls.
Our server was very polite and patient with us while we had to deal with the emotions of the meat lovers omelet being stricken from the menu. She assured us that adding linguica and bacon to the steak omelet would give us a much better meat lovers omelet than previously sought after, and she was exactly right. 💯
Even though this is a corporate franchise, the small town mentality of Modesto has kept places like this alive and running and nostalgic... so remember to treat these kinds of places accordingly. Respectfully. Don't come in here acting like you don't...

I order it before I go because they are older and they feel better me calling and ordering. So I was told that could I call back and remind them or order at 230 because she would "try her best but might forget". Seriously they don't have a place to place orders to be picked up a little later I have worked in restaurants and Delis and we always had a place to put future orders On. Come on.
