On 10/11/24 around 1230pm to 1pm.
Horrible service with two young females one was white and the other was Hispanic with braces.
The white young female was taking another order before us so the young Hispanic female with braces told her she’ll be right with us while she was doing the dough balls.
After waiting 3 or more min the white young lady came up to us and said I’ll have to do the online order first.
She then told the Hispanic female to take care of us so she can get the online order done.
The young Hispanic female. Then said I was just trying to get the dough balls done it was just one of those days. The white female said “I understand” can you just go get the Dayi cheese for me then.
She goes back to get the cheese and brings it back and proceeded to fill the bucket with the cheese.
Granted she dropped the whole bottom of the bucket into the red sauce and then proceed to fill it.
The white female said it’s fine I’ll just wipe the bottom of it later.
The Hispanic girl came up to us after cleaning up her mess asked can she take our order.
Not apologizing for taking so long, ignoring us for 3 min to get the dough ball done and picking the online order before the people that was standing right if front of them.
I ordered tater tots which they were all out or discontinuing the item they didn’t know they just knew that they were out and it didn’t come in on the order.
Irritated from the lack of knowledge and lack of urgency I just told my wife to order whatever she wanted and I didn’t want nothing.
Whole my wife was ordering they were talking amongst themselves and giggling.
My wife ordered and salad and pizza.
The salad, the white female didn’t ask what dressing she wanted and assumed she wanted the vinaigrette.
She didn’t even hand her the salad, she had to walk back from the table to ask for it.
Made us paid for a ranch because she assume that it was for our her pizza, but she wanted it for the salad.
Pizza, both the young lady’s was laughing and giggling then whole time back there talking to each other and not paying attention.
They gave my wife pizza order away to the online order.
They didn’t want to say anything cause they knew they messed up.
I was watching them the whole time when I rolling my son in his stroller to try to get him to sleep.
The Hispanic female was literally laughing about it and the white female shrugged her shoulders like oh well.
No urgency to fix the order no urgency to apologize.
My wife walked back to the counter and asked what talking so long for our pizza?
The young gentleman told us they gave our order to the person before us with his head down.
Not offering to fix it we just asked for our money back which the young gentleman did and apologized for the mishap.
Overall it was a horrible experience at pieolgy in Elk Grove.
I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy especially if you’re hungry.
Online order are more important than the customer in front of you.
Finishing you dough ball is more important then the people that are front of you.
Wasted 20-30 min of my life at a place that didn’t want us there.
Lack of communication lack of urgency lack of professionalism lack of empathy of mistakes
Laughing and talking to each other is more important than doing the job...
Read moreI am extremely disappointed with my recent visit to the Elk Grove Pieology location. I ordered a spicy chicken pizza and midway through eating my first slice, I discovered pepperoni mixed into the sauce.
This is completely unacceptable. Pepperoni is against my religion, and this type of cross-contamination shows a serious lack of care in food preparation. I trusted Pieology to respect my order and dietary restrictions, and instead I was put in a very upsetting situation that could have been avoided with proper attention and food safety standards.
To make matters worse, when I brought this to the staff’s attention, neither the employees nor the manager, Brianna, offered an apology. There was no acknowledgment of the seriousness of the situation or any sign of remorse. They simply processed the refund I requested and sent me on my way. A refund does not erase the disrespect or the lack of responsibility shown in this situation.
As a customer, I expect better from a company that serves such a diverse community. This experience has left me frustrated, angry, and questioning whether I can trust Pieology again.
I strongly urge corporate to investigate how this happened, retrain staff on food handling, and ensure stricter measures are taken to prevent cross-contamination and improve customer service...
Read moreExperineced HORRIBLE customer service here. I was Not greeted walking inside or leaving. The 2 young ladies working, ignored me for a good 3 mins while they continued what they were doing behind the counter (one pressing dough, the other filling toppings) not busy with orders or anything. I was the only customer in line. After standing and waiting, I realized my order was in the warmer so I asked if I can grab it myself since they were too busy. Finally the girl comes over, she did not say anything to me! She grabbed the pizza and I told her I wanted to buy a drink, she proceeded and still did not talk to me. Not an apology for the wait, not a thank you, nothing! The other girl continued what she was doing as if I never walked passed her. And to make things worse, my pizza was made incorrectly and was not cooked right! In all the years of eating at PIEOLOGY I have never felt so unwelcome with a jacked up pizza. I will drive to downtown Sacramento 16th street before I ever go to this location again, and I live...
