Primos Mexican Food — Restaurant in California

Look, I’m generally pretty fair, but I am honestly regretting not going to del taco. So, I ordered the Cali breakfast burrito, no sour cream add beans. I got a Cali breakfast burrito WITH sour cream and NO beans. I asked for a custom order, it happens, no biggie. Ask them to fix it. Guy behind the grill throws a fit asking to see the receipt because he doesn’t believe it. So, once he realizes I’m right, (btw, this receipt interaction is happening loudly between the cashier girl and him in front of me and clearly upset at me), he goes ahead and adds the beans. But there’s still sour cream in the burrito. He wraps it up, slams it on the counter, cashier sees it and IGNORES it. Cook says nothing. Fuming, I walk out, but I don’t complain. I go sit around the corner with my wife and dog and start eating. She ordered quesadillas. So, both of our foods had eggs. These eggs were SO WET!! And the guy just POURED on the chipotle sauce or whatever it is on both of our meals and so they were just like an ocean inside. It was a really terrible feeling to bite into. Her quesadillas tortillas were still fresh out of the package seemingly. It fell apart and everything was just a mess.

To sum up, the staff could be better, the cook needs to be changed though for sure. Mid twenties, tall Spanish speaking dude. Around 5:50 pm. The food was terrible. I won’t be returning, but based on the fact the business has so many negative reviews both on FB and Yelp, I’d venture to say they don’t care. Maybe the day shift is better, but I will never find out. Biggest waste of $18 for a burrito, quesadilla, and a small drink I’ve ever made. I knew it was going to be a bad experience when I tried calling in my order and they wouldn't even pick up the phone. When they finally picked up the phone, I ordered a couple of street tacos with a side of beans. I made the mistake of sending my son to pick up my food. Turns out they gave me rice instead of beans. Mind you the side of rice was about 4 ounce- $3!! That's not even the bad part. I drove back to the store to get my side of beans. The girl that was mopping stopped cleaning and started warming up a side of beans without washing her hands- gross! 🤢 I took back the rice and I left. I stopped coming to this location because they always get my order wrong, they over cook my food & the employees lack common sense and courtesy. I will stick to the mall location with the drive through. However, they have all become ridiculously...

As regulars of this place we typically wouldn’t have a complaint. Today we went in a bit earlier then we normally would as we always go later at night. A lady in her 30s or 40s, white complexion, heavier set, whom was supposed to be running the counter and was doing a poor job as we stood at an empty counter waiting to order when we got there and then again when asking for a to-go box. Lucky the cook saw me and went to pass me one. I took one step to the side of the counter to grab it from him and as I’m saying “Thank you man” I’m cut off with “I can’t have you back that far, you need to get back!” From the back In a unbelievably rude tone.
