This Starbucks is arguably one of the worst stores in the nation and historically awful. Besides the mediocre drinks usually diluted with lots of ice or water for the purpose of saving cost and product, I could not say a single positive thing about this store. The turnover is incredibly high, most employees don't make it past 2 months because the management here is awful. This leads to the poor quality in drinks and misinformation from employees who are poorly trained and inexperienced. But, it's not just that. This Starbucks progressively gets worse over time. They cut down story lobby hours by an hour to 9 pm even though their drive thru goes to 11 pm. Saving costs even though the prices have gone up. Here are my demands: (1) stop throttling internet speeds down to 0.8 mbps when it's peak is easily 10 mbps - that's a corporate decision influenced by store management, (2) stop blasting the story lobby music super LOUD. It's always loud because the employees love hearing loud hipster music as they work at the expense of customers like me who are reading, (3) stop closing the bathrooms on Sunday evenings in this facade that they're down for maintenance, (4) please routinely clean the tables. I've been cleaning my own table as I enter because there's always a stain or spill on every vacant table, (5) keep it room temperature. It doesn't need to be the arctic zone especially during the summer. They just keep the AC on and the place stays like 40 degrees. It's unbearable. (6) Doing your logistics and restocking on Sunday nights leaving the door open for an hour with wind breezing into the store...why? Just close the store. This Starbucks makes your lobby experience as painful as possible to deter you from coming inside. They'd rather you wait through the long drive thru lines. I really...
Read moreI had probably the worst possible experience with this specific Starbucks location.I tried to order online and their mobile ordering was turned off which isn’t unusual they tend to do this a lot. I decided to go in at 2:25pm in store to order my family and I drinks and I waited in line and the barista says “we are not taking orders in store you need to wait in drive thru” I said okay I will do that so I get in this long drive thru line at 2:30pm. I’m waiting in line and it’s not moving much so I call the store and ask if it hits after 3pm since that was their closing time if I would still be able to order so that I don’t waist my time in line. The barista tells me yes that an employee will go outside to stop the line when it hits 3 and whoever is in line will be able to order, I said “perfect” and proceeded to wait. I’m finally next at the drive thru after waiting 50 min at this point it’s 3:20pm and nobody is taking my order so we pull up to the window and see them cleaning. We flag them down and a extremely rude employee states that she was not the one that said that when I clearly know she was the one I spoke to. Absolute worst customer experience I’ve received at any establishment, I have been going to Starbucks every day for YEARS and have never been treated in this matter. They couldn’t even apologize just told me to take it up with the manager who wasn’t even there. I really hope that this experience gets to upper management because their treatment is unacceptable, not to mention the 20 cars behind me waiting and not one sign or employee letting customers know...
Read moreI am very disappointed at this location because I frequent Starbucks a lot. I understand that there are Covid hours and that there are often changes in open/closed lobbies and time changes. But this time 2/14/22 I’ve decided to get my last caffeine fix before I completed my errands for the night. I happened to be near this location and made my way to drive thru. After waiting 20 mins in the drive thru line finally getting to the order speaker, I was told by the associate they were closed at 7pm and no longer taking orders. It was 7:00 when I got to the order box. What’s more annoying is waiting in Drive thru line before they closed then pulling up to the window and told after waiting for so long unaware and time wasted. An employee should’ve stepped out an notified customers waiting in in Drive thru line . Mind you there were at least 3 other cars behind me waiting as well. It’s a disservice to your customers without properly informing them while or before they get to the window. And instead of accommodating the ones that waited patiently, you turned them away. To top that off, still no employee stepped out to inform other waiting customers behind me, my Boyfriend had to step out and did the job for them before they wasted their time as well. Be more diligent when closing, informing customers in a timely manner via signage or someone out there telling them. I get it we all want to go home when out shift is over and you want to clock out. But this was more annoying than anything. Glad there’s a new one opening up just down the way I’ll be taking my business...
