Came into this Togo’s at the end of April and there was no management on site; nobody on staff knew how to properly process a gift card. After the employee Alyssa acknowledged that she didn’t know how to run a gift card she asked if I would be willing to pay with a credit card. She let me know that even though it says it didn’t process on her end if I took the cards to another Togo’s and was told there was no balance to bring them back in here and explain the situation to a manager so they could refund me the original gift card balances. Fast forward a month later I take the gift cards to another Togo’s and get told there is no money on the cards, no problem I had record of the situation so I bring them back here and try to explain to the owner there was money on the cards your employee wasn’t sure how to complete the transaction with them but told me it might have still deducted from the available balance in the background and if I ran into any issue just come back here. I try to explained that to the owner this afternoon and she was rude, acted like she had no clue how that could have possibly happened, and said it wasn’t her problem because Alyssa no longer worked here. Like the length of trouble she went through to imply I was lying over a simple $10 was beyond me; needless to say I frequented this Togo’s quite often as it is close to my house, but they will never get another penny from me. The owner is completely unprofessional and has no concept of good customer service. Having new staff work untrained with no supervision onsite should have been my first indicator of this but this experience...
Read moreHey I was visiting from out of town on my way back home I stopped at this Togos. I am a fan of Togos. I have been eating their sandwiches since I was a little girl. My family in the bay area and throughout California love Togo’s sandwiches. However this shop clean however the manager is running around complaining about an order apparently someone had placed one month ago and another order that they actually paid for. She was complaining that she could not get a hold of them and she Was not going to refund their money because they did not call. As a customer standing there watching this go down as she complained to her employees and anyone else that was in the air distance it was quite annoying and sad because someone took the time to patronize the store and to place an order. And that someone may have had a life crisis they may have forgotten or maybe they died or maybe something happen in their family however it’s not a loss to the store because the store then actually put out a product. And I believe she should gracefully go ahead and refund that money because she did not earn it and maybe that family arePerson needs that money right now during the holidays and I don’t know however the scenario is however I do know that the young lady that apparently is a manager I believe her name is Zara needs to find another line of work and work on her customer service and also her humanity. Employees looked stressed they look like they were just...
Read moreThis location has always been much too dirty for my taste, but I never reviewed it because I wanted to be able to pick up take out without worry they would spit in my food. Since I will never eat there again, here's my honest review: This is the dirtiest, most unorganized, Togos location with the most irritable untrained staff I have ever visited. It's slightly better during the day when the general manager is there, but it's all downhill after that. If you want to eat at a clean table, you have to clean it. Employees are more concerned with getting paid to complain about being at work than actually working, and customers are just intrusions to them. Today was the last straw. The manager on duty lied to us. My husband has celiac disease and has always eaten gluten free tortilla wraps at any location we visited, but today we were told the COMPANY DECIDED TO DISCONTINUE GLUTEN FREE TORTILLA WRAPS. That was a lie. This specific location (franchise) decided not to carry them because the cost was greater than the customers they would lose by not carrying them. This specific location made that decision, not the company. I have dealt with the other issues at this location because we love Togo's, this one is closest to my home, and I've eaten Togo's sandwiches my whole life. However, I do not appreciate being...
