A Hidden Gem in Twain Harte – Twain Harte Creamery Delivers Perfection!
If you find yourself in Twain Harte, California, and you don’t stop by Twain Harte Creamery, you’re doing yourself a serious disservice. This place is an absolute treasure, and let me tell you—it's not just an ice cream shop; it's a full-blown experience.
First off, let’s talk about their sourdough pizza. Hands down, the best I’ve ever had. The large Margherita pizza? I could (and have) devoured an entire one by myself without a second thought. The crust is crisp yet chewy, with that signature tang of sourdough, and the toppings are fresh and perfectly balanced. It's a pizza lover's dream.
Now, about those laughable fake reviews floating around on Facebook. Someone tried to claim this place only has one flavor of ice cream? Seriously? If they’d actually stepped inside the Creamery, they’d have been greeted by the glorious sight of a glass case overflowing with a variety of ice cream flavors—right by the front door. Last time I was there, I had a scoop of coffee ice cream (heavenly), and my niece went for the cotton candy ice cream, which was a vibrant swirl of pink and blue sugary goodness.
The truth is, if you’re mixing up your review with your auntie’s lackluster coffee shop two doors down, maybe you’re the problem, not the Creamery.
On top of the fantastic food and ice cream, the service is second to none. The family that owns Twain Harte Creamery clearly takes pride in their establishment and treats every customer like they’re part of the family. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely happy to be there. In a sleepy little mountain town like Twain Harte, that level of care and attention to detail really stands out.
So here’s the deal: whether you're stopping by for pizza, ice cream, or just a friendly smile, Twain Harte Creamery is an absolute must-visit. Don't let fake reviews fool you—this place is the real deal, and the love and dedication poured into every slice and scoop are...
Read moreThe other night my wife and I decided to try some new local eateries. We hadnt tried the Creamy since they started serving more then ice cream. It was a busy night as the concert in the park was going on, but i was not prepared for our 1st experience here. As soon as i open the door, i hear yelling from the back to close the door! The phones were ringing off the hook and the front servers were ordered to not pick up any calls and if you do pick up tell them "we are to busy for more orders and to go to the bad gas BBQ resturant next door". I and the other patrons in the lobby looked back n forth at each other with our lips sealed. We ordered a apple salad and a tritip sandwhich and when they came out we were a little dissapointed as portion sizes were far under what we expected. Just looking at our food we knew we hadnt ordered enough to get the quanity of food we qere looking for a regular meal but over $40 already invested, we just ate the food and left. The tri tip was tasty but again just meat on a small bun that seemed more like a big slider. And the salad was missing its blue cheese crumbles and was the size of a regular side salad, we may take a while before we try...
Read moreMy friend and I stopped by Twain Harte Creamery just planning to grab some ice cream, but when we saw a pizza come out for another customer, it looked way too good to pass up. While we waited, we played some cornhole and relaxed in the outdoor area—it’s a great spot to hang out. The coffee ice cream was super tasty, and my friend swears the horchata milkshake is the best he’s ever had. Then the pizza came out and it was awesome. Super fresh, perfectly crispy sourdough crust, and loaded with flavor. We’ll definitely be...
