McDonald's — Restaurant in Callaway

Horrible service! I used the new 2 lane drive thru, that was a big mistake! I had to wait over 7 minutes to pay for my order, after I had placed the order. After I finally was able to pay for my order, I drove up to the second window to get my food. The employee working the window asked me if I had a coke as by beverage, I informed her I ordered a diet Coke. she said okay and then handed me a beverage. She then asked me twice what my order was, and I repeated my order to her, while I was double checking the receipt. The order was correct on the receipt and the employee repeated my order to me as she was double checking the food in the bag. She then handed me a bag of food, and I drove off. As I reach into the bag to grab a container of fries after leaving the restaurant and getting on the road, I pull out a small fry. I immediately know that this is not what I ordered. I pulled over and examined all the food in the bag. To my surprise, nothing was correct in the bag. I had ordered a quarter pounder with cheese value meal and a second large fry to go along with my beverage. I was quite shocked when I examined the bag and I realized that I was given a small fry and 2 cheeseburgers. I then inserted the straw into my drink, yep, I was given the wrong drink as well.

I understand that mistakes happen, especially when you are busy. But, to be asked.to confirm your order, multiple times by an employee, and have that same employee examine the contents of the bag just before they handed it to me through the drive thru window, and to have every bit of food wrong in my bag, that is just unacceptable to me.

I'm sorry but not only can I not recommend this establishment, I have to recommend that you steer clear of this location at all costs. I myself and my family will not be going to this location again...

I'm giving this a 1 star only because I had to pick one. I had the worst expierence iver ever had with a fast food establishment. I should've just went ahead and went somewhere else after I sat in the drive through line for over 10 mins before I was able to order my food. I started off in the outer lane, then after I realized whomever was inside taking orders wasn't even acknowledging that there were even customers, I drove back around the building ( which I should've just went somewhere else ) I proceeded to get into the first drive through lane, then what do you know I was able to order. But thats just the beginning. I was charged for extra food that I didn't even order after that, so I went to the next window and told them that I was charged for food that I hadn't ordered. No big deal I got my money back for that. The icing on the cake though was after about 20 mins now I'm sittingwaiting on my food, and the guy at this window proceeds to tell me that they haven't made my food yet because they don't have the bun that I requested for my wife's meal, so I had to wait an additional 10 mins for my food to be "made", and wait on my refund. Then I get home and realize that none of the food is even fresh. Dry fries, my daughter's chicken nuggets we're cold, my wife's chicken sandwich was missing toppings, and my quarter pounder only had ketchup on it... Needless to say l, they've lost my business. One of the worst McDonald’s in Panama City. I don’t understand how this location is still in business when every single time they take over 20 minutes for me to order, give me the incorrect order, or have rude and impatient customer service. I live by here and the drive thru always takes over 15 minutes, regardless of how many people are present. Today I was sitting for over 20 minutes not moving in line when I decided to go in and order. I go inside to try to order and there is a long line inside as well; no one is taking any orders and customers are standing around. No workers are even behind the front desk taking orders. I go back in the line and wait for 20 more minutes. Line is hardly moving. After two cars pull up, I finally pull up to order my food after over 30 minutes and they don’t even acknowledge me. I sit there for five minutes for them to take my order before I get impatient and leave. Don’t waste your time and go to a different McDonald’s. All the one star reviews are correct; it takes as long as a sit down place to even get your food and it is very low quality if your order is even correct. While I understand that sometimes this stuff happens, this McDonald’s is consistently the worst fast food chain on Tyndall Parkway and whatever they’re doing is not effective.
