I gave this place a bonus star because I appreciate that they have vegan and gluten free menu items. I'll say first that I'm not the type to complain about service, particularly not publicly but after going in three days in a row AND talking to a manager, I'm still not satisfied with my experience. I accidentally left my credit card there the first day. I realized I had left it later that evening, after they were closed. I hadn't been anywhere else so I knew it was there. I went back at noon the next day, and the counter help shrugged helplessly and refused to look for it. I asked for a manager, and he responded that the manager was "busy". I asked if he could maybe look for it by the register or something since at my place of business that's typically where we keep misplaced cards. I left my number and asked for a return call, but was a bit speechless at his total lack of help or concern. I didn't get a call back for about 6 hours, by which point I had of course cancelled my card, assuming he might have stolen it or something, or maybe someone else might have. I'm on a trip, so not having my credit card is incredibly, ridiculously inconvenient, not to mention the minutes wasted on my phone. I went in again the next day, and it turns out my card was exactly where I suggested he look, and had been found the day I had come in and left it. So the whole mess could have been avoided if he'd taken about 30 seconds to help me. I asked for a manager and let her know what happened and was greeted with a surprised look and basically a "wow, that kind of sucks" response. And that's it. BARELY an apology. So... thanks guys, I don't care what's on your menu, won't be...

My wife and I recently explored the Keweenaw and stubbled upon this place looking for breakfast and some coffee. When we walked in we noticed two things that maybe should have advised us to leave. 1. a very confusing sign about mask wearing and both individuals behind the counter not wearing masks properly or at all. But, we believe despite someone's personal opinions a business still deserves a shot. The longer we were there the worse it got. The person that took our order had her nose sticking out of her mask, the person making coffee was wearing her mask around her chin. After placing our order the person who took our order removed her mask and never put it back on. They both were less than friendly; not a single smile from any employee. We tried to be friendly and polite as we believe all people should be treated. As more customers came in we noticed we were the only ones using masks properly. It's not a large space social distancing was not a thing. Both employees and many customers were walking around freely without masks, the person who brought us our food from the kitchen had her mask around her chin. The entire time we were there no one cleaned or sanitized a single table. Now to the food and coffee. The coffee we got (mocha and traditional latte) were pretty good. No issues there. I ordered the breakfast special which was $10 for burnt scrambles eggs, underdone hash browns, two of the smallest pieces of bacon I've ever seen and stale toast. My suggestion...if you're in Calumet and you want a coffee place that cares that you are there, cares about you as a human being and cares about coffee go...

Visiting from out of state (Wisconsin). Came to Cafe Rosetta twice during our U.P. stay. We were extremely unimpressed at the lack of customer service/social skills of the staff here. During our first visit, our order was mistakenly given to a group that had ordered after us. Rather than us being apologized to, the other group was apologized to, and was then given their (fresh order of) food before us. We were neglected for probably 15 minutes before we received our food (the other group had since finished eating). The food itself was wonderful - it tasted fresh, and was clearly made from real, quality ingredients. It's worth noting that 0% of the staff wear face masks, although there is a sign posted on the door telling customers to wear masks due to a statewide mask mandate. Staff act as though you are inconveniencing them by visiting this business. No greetings either time we arrived or stepped up to the counter to order, we were just stared at until we felt uncomfortable enough to start ordering. Would have given 1 star if not for the quality...

We stopped into Cafe Rosetta on a whim- I can't be more happy. This quaint little cafe hit the absolute spot. Me and my sister got the Bagel Sandwich- Devine. I got a gluten free bagel, it was delicious (and no additional charge!) We also got a lemon poppy seed muffin that may have actually changed the course of my life. It was so delicious I will continue to dream about for likely the rest of my days. And the Sisu Nisu Latte Iced is a taste I will strive to find or recreate in every cup of coffee for the next several months. The ladies behind the bar were amazing and accommodative. My sister burned her finger this morning, they gave her a fresh bag of ice, burn cream, a towel, and bandaids. Truly, wholeheartedly nice people. I am genuinely sad we are not from Calumet and that this will be our first and last time at Cafe Rosetta.

So I’m love with this little cafe! Their menu is fresh and made to order. They have a fantastic coffee and latte menu, and a beautiful home made pastries. It is the perfect spot for breakfast or lunch. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The cafe is cozy and bright, with lots of natural light from the big windows. I had the avocado toast, which was delicious. Their sandwich menu has something for everything.

We went to Cafe Rosetta for lunch and coffee. The food was fresh and delicious, and the coffee was amazing. There is a huge variety of coffee to choose from, including local flavors, and it is reasonably priced. Great service and friendly baristas. 4 stars only because lunch was a little more expensive than I was expecting.
