McDonald's — Restaurant in Calumet Township

I wish there was a zero rankinh because this McDonald's would get it! Let me say they upgraded the Resturant sadly they did not upgrade their employees. I literally live down the street from here, so it's convenient. But i can also say there has never been a time when my experience was good! No matter the time or day, even if you're the only one in the drive-thru or inside, you're going to wait. My daughter waited 45 minutes yesterday for 1 meal. I have waited over 15 minutes many times just for a drink! And if you ask about it, they gonna give you an attitude. If they get something wrong with your order, they will give you an attitude! I have walked in and watched a manager and an employee talk super loud cussing and being ratcheted, ignoring that im standing there waiting to take my order!! I've watched other people come in to complain, and the manager or employee has been real.rude and disrespectful. I understand if a customer comes in talking crazy to you, you automatically going to get defensive but do you understand they are upset because they been waiting way too long only to get their order and its incorrect or something is missing. Also, they think they slick. Have you ever ordered your food, then you go around and pay, and then you get up to that last window, and they tell you to pull up to the side or in front to wait on your food? Its because they are trying to scam the system. They are on a timer from the time you order to pay to get your food. If you stay at the window, you order stay on that timer, and with them its gonna go way over the time its suppose to take. So by telling you to pull off and park, they can press the button to make it seem like they delivered your food in the appropriate time when, in reality, they dont!

And omg, please, someone hire someone with some common sense. I went inside and ordered a pop and asked for a 10 piece nugget. The girl gonna ask, "You want the nuggets, or do you want the MEAL?" I asked her whats the difference?" What do you get with the meal ( i have been to some mcdonald's that the meal includes fry and drink and others its just the fry) i promise you she said " nothing, there is no difference between just ordering the nuggets by themselves or getting the meal" other then the meal cost more. And i had to tilt my head sideways and i said what? How does that even make sense? So your telling me that i can order 10 nuggets with no fry or drink or I can order the nugget meal but its going to cost me more and im still only going to get 10 nuggets no drink no fry. She said yeah i know it dont make sense but thats what it is. I guess i must of looked confused cuz the manager on shift came up to the register and asked if something was wrong and after explaining what she told me (by this time the employee walked away) and the manager said no im sorry she is wrong. The meal comes with a fry and a drink! Like that was one of the most dumbest people I've ever encountered, and she was grown at that!! There's also a short, tiny manager there that only cares about her hair and her personal life that she is always talking about instead of the customer service! The owner either just dont care or they are really pulling wool over his eyes because i do not understand how them people have not been fired! It's wild!!! I have to start saying the convenience of the distants is not worth the aggravation and start going to another McDonald's. Their frappe machine is always out,they never have ice coffee.....they should be shut down! And im not surprised to see that every single review is horrible!!...

Extremely unhappy & a completely dissatisfied customer. I just came in 40 minutes ago and ordered breakfast for my office spending nearly $40. When I got back to the office and started to hand out the food, I noticed that literally 90% of my order was wrong after having waited way to long originally to even get my food in the first place and it was not busy what so ever. My issue is that I ordered 7 total breakfast sandwiches, each of them costing nearly $4 each as shown on my receipt. All of the sandwiches they provided where the sausage McMuffins that are 2 - $4 and I didn't even order these. I was suppose to get a bagel sandwich, 2 egg white delights, and the rest were the bacon egg cheese McMuffins. I called to try and get the situation resolved and the manager was extremely unprofessional and rude acting like I am out of line for even bringing up that fact that they messed up and charged me substantially more money than what I was given as an order. Paying $4 a sandwich when all they did was give me sandwiches that are 2 - $4 is just soo wrong. I have spent A LOT of money at this establishment and am extremely frustrated with how I was just treated and their LACK of desire to correct THEIR MISTAKE. Chronic unsanitary location. On more than one occasion, I have noted the filthy condition of the lobby, bathroom, and cashier station. My experience this evening completely took the cake and I will NEVER eat here! While waiting at the counter for almost five minutes (there was NO LINE) for someone to notice me, I observed one of the employees at the fry station preparing to make an order of fries. As one of his coworkers was dumping a freshly cooked basket into the bin, he reached for the salt shaker and realized it was empty. As he opened the container and sat it down to get a box of salt to replenish it, the shaker fell into the garbage. I held my breath as I waited to see what he would do. This young man pulled the salt shaker out of the garbage can, filled it with salt, replaced the top and proceeded to season the fries in the bin and prepared the order of fries for the drive-thru customer. No sanitizing, no washing, hell, the boy didn't even wipe it off. Just plucked it out of the garbage can, filled it up and kept it moving. At this point, I asked for and notified the manager of what I observed. I will be writing the owner and the health department...
