Worst service ever.
Never been before. Wasn't busy. Walked in, took a minute to look over the menu. Stood off to the side so others that came in could go before me. Walked up to the register once I was ready, was ignored by 3 employees because their non-work related conversation is more important than customers. Then once someone notices me, they literally said "oh have you not been helped yet?" no I'm just standing in front of the register without a number because I don't need anything Spent $24 for just a latte and a sort of inside out ham and cheese sandwich (croque monsieur). I asked for an iced latte, and when they read my order back to me they said iced. When I got my drink it was hotter than hell. That felt intentional so I didn't say anything. The croque was good. The two layers of bread kind of dulled out the flavors though and I ended up taking one of the layers out. Towards the end of my meal, I walked up to the pick up counter because I needed a little ice for my latte that was still scalding (those to go cups does their job better than the employees) and was ignored again by 4 people including the someone who's giving managerial/boss vibes. Got ice after a few minutes of standing there. Finished my food and dipped.
--im a supervisor and server (and I've been serving for too long, really). Customer service isn't hard, especially at an order at the counter place. I'm very understanding and patient with a place if it's obviously busy, but it wasn't busy here and I was blatantly ignored. I don't remember the last time I wrote a bad review, or the last time I wished...
Read morePeople here are nice but I was so bummed. I ordered their waffle breakfast with sunnyside up eggs and bacon and a cup of tea. It came out to around $25 or so. I went in right when it opened and on a Saturday. I was the 3rd person to order and it wasn't busy yet. I got my food rather quickly and ended up so disappointed. I was starving and dead tired from working a night shift. I wanted a nice meal and to go home. I ended up forcing myself to eat the old severely overcooked (also seemed recooked and not fresh) and unbearably salty bacon that turned to powder in my mouth. It wasn't even hot bacon, just luke warm. The "eggs" was actually just ONE measly egg with chives on top. And I eat it just to find an egg shell underneath! I was like, okay 2 strikes but the waffle looks okay. The strawberries in the sauce on the waffle were old and dull and when I took a bite... Low and behold the waffle was undercooked!!! I couldn't even eat it. They offered to recook the waffle but I was too tired for any confrontation or anything. They offered a refund but I said "it's okay I'll just enjoy my tea". They gave me a refund anyways which I'm grateful for but unfortunately I...

The problem with places like this is you don't know what to order because you've never seen the menu items before. At least I haven't.( I haven't been to France, Ive been to Italy)
It's a friendly American French place full of espresso, crepes, French toast, benedicts, etc. I had the Croque Madame. The mocha latte I ordered was so good, I came back after stopping at the local farmer's market that was in session and ordered another mocha latte. Wow. Yummy.
They are slow to bus the tables, but whatever--you just clear the table you want to sit at yourself--no big whoop. It's not a full service restaurant anyhow.
For some, it's expensive, but I say," What the Rimac?" Live a little.
I think about all the things I would have never done in life if I was so worried about money.
The only thing that bothers me is people (customers). Leave your disgusting, dirty mutt at home. What is wrong with you rude people? They do not belong in food establishments. And give me a break, it's not a service dog. Licensed Service dogs don't ...
