I reeeeally wanted to like this place. This was the first burgerville I have visited since moving to Washington. It was getting a bit late and I was already out driving so decided to pick up a burger to try for dinner.
First off I wish I got her name so I could post it, the lady working the window was super friendly and polite. She even apologized when it took a couple extra minutes. I would rank this on the very top of my drive thru experiences in a long time. Some people do not realize how far a bit of friendliess can go, she acted like she enjoyed being there. You don't see that at other places, when I go to the burger King near here they act like you are putting them out. Also at burger King I don't get any type of an apology about some wait, instead they tell you to pull forward even when there is no car behind you and they will bring it out to your car probably so they don't have to have you staring at them.
Ok now for the food, I forgot which burger I chose but it was a normal style. I know they had some specialty ones on the menu but I didn't get one. Just a plain lettuce and tomato type of burger. I also ordered the waffle fries or waffley I think they call theirs. The burger had a decent flavor but the patty was very lacking. Was one of the thinnest patties I have had in a while, thinner than a smashed burger. I also was not a fan of their "house sauce" it tasted pretty much mayo and yellow mustard was mixed together. The waffle fries were......well waffle fries, they were good. Only thing I could of asked was maybe a little crisper and a little bit more seasoning.
It was still good enough to warrant another try and another menu item. The customer service makes it more of a...
Read moreOh, yeah, Burgerville! Or "Booger- Bill's" as my toddler likes to call it. The staff at this location is excellent. The epitome of customer service excellence. Seriously! More than once I've given up the hope of getting my kids fed before eight o'clock and have headed down the hill to this spot. And they're always happy to see us, and we're always happy to see them! Not a ton of corn-free stuff on the menu (my daughter has a corn allergy), but they're happy to do some finagling to make it work (lettuce wrapped bun with no sauce, etc). As an added bonus, on more than one occasion have they opened up the kids' play area to us after it had been cleaned & closed for the evening (they do it around 6 or so, don't look at me like that!). Seriously, though, that takes being great at your job and being happy with it, to boot. Not something many fast-food workers can claim, I'm sure! But BV is different. It's always been local, and they've maintained a local image, even with healthy and bountiful growth as a chain. Their sourcing is as local as possible, seasonal, and their offerings are nearly always delicious! Like Yum!-inspiring delicious. Not just, "Oh hey, that's not bad!" but "Wow! Oh, man Burgerville rocks!" good. Everyone I know who knows Burgerville, loves the place. Also, I get to lord it over my Seattle friends who come to Camas to visit. You keep your fancy cereal-bars, Seattle, I have...
Read moreIf you guys are going to charge 32 Bucks for 2 regular size double cheeseburger meals. Make sure the fries aren't cold and don't taste like fish. 32 Bucks that's absolutely rediculous! It's not even a hamburger with everything on it it's 2 small patties and cheese that's melted only half the time you order it and a bun squished together with your sause. I realize everything has went up in price but you guys were already outrageous! And then to ask for tips everytime you go there. (Push this button for this amount or this for that amount or this for no tip) give me a break that's just a ploy to get customers to feel bad and say no tip. Most people tip because if you say no they all think you will mess with the food. One more thing if your gonna charge that much and expect us to tip don't ever make anyone wait 25 minutes in a drive through to finally get to the window to see your food in a line up with everyone else's, and ask me again what I ordered and hand me a bag of food that's been sitting on the counter for 10 minutes. Unreal!! I love tipping these kids and it's not there fault just so we're clear. But this is fast food since when did we start having to give a tip for overcharge cold food. Get it together. Love the food when it's right it's not worth it but there isn't anything else in these 2...
