There were some small things that happened when we got there, such as they didn't have the order correct and they tried to overcharge for something we didn't order, but when we got home and almost all the food was totally inedible with my kids hungry. The pad thai was soaked in a coilingly sweet syrup with 3 pieces of tofu, the fried tofu was hard all the way through and all different sizes, the curry had pockets of spices that were not palatable and were not mixed in. My husband did his best to eat the curry, but my kids and I could not eat the pad thai or tofu. I didn't call that night because the restaurant was closed by the time we had got home and tried to eat the food and I wanted to speak to someone and not leave a message. I called the next day and requested just the pad thai and the tofu to be refunded and the employee was understanding and told me she that was fine. When I got there she told me her boss had yelled at her because I didn't call the night before and didn't think I was telling the truth because I didnt call when they were closed. I spent $60 to come home to hungry kids with food that could not be eaten, and I thought the owner would care about that kind of experience rather than yelling at her employee who wanted to do the right thing. They must have a new chef or something but they need to improve their food, the way they treat their customers and the way they treat their employees. I have been to this place many times and it has...
Read moreI got take away from here the day 5 July 2025. First time here..had high hopes for a delicious supper. I ordered pumpkin Curry with veggies thai hot. Papaya salad medium and tofu salad rolls. What can I say... what an utter disappointment... absolutely every thing i ordered was awful. Starting with the tofu fresh rolls they were huge; which ordinarily this would be a plus.. but all their was inside was lettuce and tofu.... the papaya salad was just handful of dry papaya and a few cut tomatoe skins.... and some peanuts.... their was no sauce or salad dressing just flat dry... I tried to eat some but it wasn't palatable just dry shredded papaya..... and now for the main event the Pumpkin Curry i love curry especially pumpkin curry... this one left so much to be desired... first the curry sauce was very thick like pancake batter and the vegetables were all cut up into tiny pieces.... so I can't even tell you what kind of veggies were in there; Because the veggies were chopped up so small they all became overcooked in the curry sauce... it was bad really bad on top of that the curry was so hot I had to put some ice in it to try and eat some... like it was left alone boiling for longer then needed. Complete loss of $44 dollars...
The only positive take away was the people working there were friendly
I hope in future they find a knowledgeable trained chef and the...
Read moreI walked in for the first time from the paper mill to order an extra spicy pad si ew and Thai iced tea. I tried to call but despite being open for 15 minutes already they didn't answer their phone. I got my food and asked for a side of Thai pepper fish sauce and chop sticks. She sounded irratated at the request and reluctantly obliged.
I then walked back to the mill only to realize she didn't give me my iced tea. Considering that the (small) iced tea cost nearly 6 bucks 😳, I decided to walk back for it. When I arrived she not only didn't recognize me from moments before but also argued with me that I didn't pay for the iced tea after explaining the situation. After further frustration, she caved in and gave me my plastic cup of sweet tea.
After getting back to the mill I began to eat, but was generally dissatisfied with the food. Extra spicy just means piles of dried red chili flakes on top of the dish, not even cooked into the food. Dump a jar of red chili flakes into your mouth and start chewing. That was the basic equivalent. Compared to Wild Tiger or Arawan, Kop Chai is a...
