Lutz Hardware — Local services in Camas

We have been here three times now and have had an excellent experience every time, especially the most recent. In March, we moved to Washougal and returned our U-Haul easily while they were closed, because they have a drop box. We purchased wood and some other hardware which all was decently priced and easy to find. Yesterday, we needed a LOT of wood and were also looking for a canvas type strap. The staff was very friendly in helping us find something to work, find LARGE pieces of wood for our projects, and they even let us borrow some ratchet straps since we forgot ours at home! Austin and Shawna were the most friendly and personable people we have dealt with at ANY store in a long time. Thank you Lutz team for a great, easy, and friendly experience every time we need to come...

So here is the deal folks you always hear about small town hardware stores being expensive not having the things you need on hand or just not having a large selection to choose from....well when you go to Lutz expect people to be very nic3 and helpful which they are.. expect them to have what you need because chances are the have it... expect knowledge about what they have in the store because they do . Expect the item you want to be reasonable price because everything is... But beyond the expect to feel welcome and comfortable weather your a contractor or just someone doing a project they make you feel like that....If everyone ran there small company like the Lutz family those big box stores ...

Just stopped in today after a doctor's appt. Had blood drawn. A bit dizzy so on phone with Husband to stay focused. I just walked in ( accidently without a mask) Instead of being asked nicely, I was yelled at to put a mask on. A bit uncalled for. I was extremely embarrassed. Everyone looked at me. Made me realize why I never shop there. I have a bad experience Everytime I'm there. Really, the only being with great customer...
