From start to finish, this was the perfect to-go breakfast experience. My family was hungry and all of us were craving breakfast sandwiches. We hadn't yet heard of this place, but used the Googles through the series of tubes to see if there was a place on this side of the river near enough that had them, and found Cedar Steet Bagel Co., not too far away. My partner decided to call our order ahead, and I was sitting close enough that I could hear both sides of the call. The woman who answered was very friendly, read back our order, and left us feeling we definitely made the right decision by the time the call was over. This was BEFORE getting the food. Then my daughter and her drove over, said the place was small, cute, and clean, and even had cool merchandise. They picked me up a really great quality branded mug as a gift for staying home to watch our kittens. Now for the food. The bagels were that perfect combination of soft and chewy. I got The Mighty on an asiago bagel with ham, plus avocado spread. Delicious doesn't even touch it. The best breakfast sandwich I've had, by far. The ham seemed to be of good quality, and there was more of it than I expected. The avocado spread was real avocado and was a perfect addition. They also surprised me with a cherry, cream cheese danish, which was flaky and excellent. The food was still hot when they got home, and they ordered additional bagels so we can enjoy them in the coming days. Couldn't...
Read moreMy breakfast sandwich was phenomenal even being gluten free. The vegan cream cheese is to die for as well and I’m thankful they were willing to do substitutions. The whole place smelled wonderful and the bagels I got for my kids smelled phenomenal. The biggest downside I had was the non friendly customer service. I was shaking bad and stuttering due to my blood sugar crashing fast and the lady wasn’t to helpful and seemed irritated that I was struggling. I have blood sugar issues I had just got off work wanted some bagels for my kids and a breakfast sandwich for the sitter so I drove 20 minutes to here as I’ve heard so many rave about it but got a very irritated cashier. The man who gave me my bagel didn’t seem to friendly either I said have a good day and he didn’t look my way or say anything. I lived on Livingston mountain for 6 years of my life and then moved away then moved back when I was 12 years old and stayed for four more years. I never had this treatment in camas and when I’ve come back to try the new places and to support them I’ve never had this treatment. I looked a little off to today as a kid on my school bus spilt a little coffee on me and it was my districts first day for 6th graders so that probably didn’t help either. I hope it was just a bad day and I will go back to try it again because it was a really amazing gluten free bagel and vegan...
Read moreWe’ve been here twice. The first time was the first week they were officially opened. Plenty of staff, and we got our food in a reasonable amount of time considering they were still working out the kinks. The bagels were ok, nothing that wowed me, but we want to support local businesses so figured we’d continue to go back. Visited today and ordered a snickerdoodle bagel with cinn-vanilla cream cheese. This is where it got comical. I was told it would be at least an hour wait to get the bagel...even though it was sitting there in the display case. Apparently there was a large call-in order that they were trying to fulfill. But seriously, an hour wait to slice a bagel? Give me a knife and I’ll do it myself. I’m sorry, but I don’t see myself going back any time soon and can’t recommend this...
