Next Dough Neighbor — Restaurant in Camas

We visited as a birthday treat for my 7yo, who quickly asked when the next time would be that we could come back. The doughnuts were as big as her face! The kids got through half a doughnut each before announcing they were stuffed, so we saved them for later. I’m gluten-free so I couldn’t partake (maybe that option will be offered in the future?), but I was told they were delicious—on the sweet side, but I think that’s what you’re signing up for with doughnuts. We enjoyed the window seats, with a live edge wood counter, which is a nice soft touch to an otherwise spare room. Holy, Toledo! My mom.is a baker & bread snob/addict (any bread/donut) so when she LOVES something it's a big deal! We tried the simple sugar (&cinnamon?) donut & glazed sprinkles - - WOW, melted in our mouths!! I only bought a few because we've been eating too much sugar lately. The simpler doughnuts are just right (a little icing), and perfect with coffee or tea. I forgot to take pics because we inhaled the donuts! Really excited about the opening and we've been waiting for it for a long time! Glad it's here and we went today to order a cookie and several different doughnut varieties. I'm sure there is testing and experimentation at the early stages because the doughnuts themselves were a bit dense in the middle, and lacked the lightness and airiness you want out of a great doughnut.
