Would give zero stars if possible! We arrived with our two dogs put our name on the list told it would be half hour, so we walked down to small coffee shop grabbed a coffee (less than ten minutes we returned) went ahead and checked in. We had several names above ours. However as I walked up the hostess said oh I was just coming to get you. Had noticed she had seated four tables of people that had arrived after us. She was like table inside is ok right. I said you allow dogs inside? She said oh that’s right it’s going to be longer wait. I said you have two tables in the patio, she said oh they need cleaned off (they did not!) I went back to the entrance of restaurant saying excuse me five times, she heard me but act like she didn’t. I said we would like to be seated soon as we wanted breakfast. She placed her hands on her hip leaned forward while yelling “we serve breakfast all day” I replied well your menu says breakfast till 1130. She then sat us at one of the two empty table on the patio. We sat here for a good twenty minutes, no drinks, no oh I’ll be with you...nothing. Finally the server that had passed our table multiple times say I’ll be with you for drinks in a minute, passed us four more times not one eye contact nothing. We then got up and left. Poor customer service!!! And cannot answer about even the water....so much for a...
Read moreThe service is upbeat, friendly, courteous and professional. Should you have "Anna Marie" as your server, you're in for a treat. Anna Marie is delightful.
The food, however, is pricey, and leaves something to be desired; certainly in the preparation of same.
Last night I had pasta Alfredo, or, rather, a poor substitute for same. The Alfredo sauce was thin, not creamy, and was flavorless until I blanketed my plate with salt and pepper. Should not be that way. The Alfredo sauce should be thick and creamy and reflect its garlic and butter antecedents as a vital concomitant to bringing out the overall taste (for none comes from the pasta, alone, unless drenched in butter; which it wasn't).
Now, will the earth go spinning off its axis because the Pasta Alfredo wasn't up to snuff? Probably not. Will Trump probably be elected in 2020? Looks that way. Will I spend that kind of money on dinner at Cambria Mimosa's S & S, again? Decidedly,...
Read moreWhen i arrived at Cambria Mimosa for breakfast, it was only 750am so i had to wait 10 minutes for them to open, so i was one of the first to walk in. There was a pleseant smell of pine or some other natural wood. The young gentleman, Leonardo, who took my order, was courteous and helpful, had also held the door open until everyone had entered when he opened the restaurant.
I placed an order for steak and eggs (medium well), and waited less than 10 minutes to get my food. My steak was cooked a little too well, but honestly it doesn't bother me, i just like a tiny bit of pink. It was thin steak but tasty. Everything else on the plate was good and it was plated in a hearty fashion. Overall i liked the environment, service, and food. No complaints at all.
Bathrooms were also clean, but did have a slight unusual odor, but who knows could have just been someone who had used it before me.
Ps. I didnt have or request a mimosa. So no...
